You guys are always great about replying and sharing your experiences that I just have to ask.....does anyone get pain that just stays in one area? My doctor keeps telling me that that is not fibro, but doesn't diagnose it as anything else either. I had my gallbladder out in January of this year followed by a CAT scan because I kept having pain. The CAT scan did not reveal any problems. But, I continue to keep having pain in my side and in the area of my gallbladder. My surgeon said intially that he thought the pain was from the gallbladder, but seeing that I continue to have the same pain even well after the surgery, I can't help but wonder if it is just another of fibro's weird manifestations. What do you all think? Any and all feedback would be appreciated. I just keep feeling like I'm going crazy or that I have something serious. But, my DR keeps assuring me that the CAT scan would have revealed something (if there was anything to see) and the scope used to remove the gallbladder would have revealed something too if there was anything in the surrounding area to see. I hate this pain!!!
Thank you so much for your reply. It helps so much to hear what others are going through. I always feel like I'm crazy because the pain just doesn't make sense. There is no rhyme or reason to it. When you keep getting a million tests and stuff like I have had and most of the time they come back negative it is very weary. I keep telling myself to just suck it up because it all just must be fibro's ugly head again. I too have had those awful pains in one area for like forever and then go away. But, this one is so intense and in my side or under my rib - its just crazy. Oh well......I'm gladI'm not alone. Thank you again so much for taking the time to reply.
Omg that is me to I get like a severe cramp in my left side under my ribs and it feels like I got stabbed now my heels hurt and my ankles every day it’s different I can’t explain it to family and the drs say I am a whinner and complain to much but I never go to the dr so how can that be. My hands ache so bad I have thought of cutting them off at the elbows it seems that is where most of my pain is. I am so glad I’m not alone thank you guys for validating my aches and pains
