I was in a bad car accident three years ago and the impact was on my left side. Especially the shoulder and arm region. Throughout the years the doctors have ran tests, ct scans…you name it I had it done. The answer they gave is that my fibro has flared up. Can this happen where my left side can be in so pain and discomfort and the right side has mild to almost no pain. Any insight is helpful. Thank you.
My Fibro attacks happen to me on ANY part of my body that I have injured in the past, Now granted sometimes I have blamed the Fibro when it was actually something else, ie absessed tooth (my lower left jaw where it had been fractured) septic bladder & kidneys (real crappy lower back pain where I had sprained it). The good part is you had your MD check it out!!! Always consult your MD, then you are ahem good to go, to start treating the pain. M

Hi Rachel, I occasionally experience pain in only one side / part of my body. I usually have my doctor check it out if it lasts for more than a few days. Each time for me it has come down to Fibro. However, that doesn't mean I won't continue to run these issues by my doctor if they occur. Hugs and I hope you feel better soon!

I injured my arm several years ago and I find to bothers me more than the other one. It is always best to have the doctor check it out. I have blamed things on fibro when it was something else. I learned the hard way after being in the hospital for 8 days if their is a dought let the doctor check it.
