Does anyone have weird dreams too?

Very good Pat!! Thanks for your help!

Thanks Patricia,

From your other interpretation, seeing a killer means a loss of identity etc, so for me to defend myself I must be struggling to keep my identity and individuality. ie despite the fibro. Death dreams often represent our need for something to end / change and for me its obviously the fibro. I had death dreams for two years before I realised i want to leave my partner at the time, and when I did, they stopped. Weird isn't it?

Sweet dreams Pat!

Thanks Patricia, bless you.

It's not a problem at all. We're grateful for your insight and wisdom. The first and the third ones are relevant to me. Death dreams are not always how they seem. It is the same for Tarot cards, that I learned to read. It can mean the end of something (and sometimes the start of something new) eg job, relationship, health etc.

Thanks again Pat!

Sweet hugs x

for sure but at least you know now right? You can't change the fibro i don't think but you can maintain the pain for sure.

SK: We all dream ...we just have to train our brains to remember...but you will know when there's a dream that sticks with you or has a big impact then there you go!...don't be afraid cause our dreams help us in our waking life.

thank you! as you guys make me feel that I am helping out and that makes me feel wanted in life that i am doing something great.

oh, cool as i know someone else who read tarot cards too...wow!

Hey Spirit,

Aww I've had that dream too. I just added something about it. Sorry if I spook you. It could mean the end of something there. Hopefully not your marriage lol, I'm no expert. It might be that you are wishing that he stops doing something that upsets you or something in his life coming to an end, if that makes sense? If its just a one off it probably is nothing to worry about.

I hope you have more pleasant dreams tonight then. Have some chocolate before bed and leave it round your lips lol. That might help.

Thanks for sharing!

Jo

hey Spirit: i have a definition for the dream word Funeral......See if any of this information helps you with your feelings around this..

It has a few definitions and here's one that could be as close to your dream as possible.....

FUNERAL: To dream that you are at somebody else's funeral, signifies that you are burying an old relationship and closing the lid on the past. You may be letting go some of the feelings(resentments, anger, hostility toward someone) that you have been clinging too.

Now not sure if this does relate to your husband figure in your dream but hope this helps with your residual feelings and settles your mind a bit.

Take care spirit 1

Hi patriciarose,

Welcome to the group! So nice of you to put such a positive light on these scary dreams! We could all do with some closing the lid on the past about something that may plague us in our waking hours! There is such an emotional element to our suffering.

Glad to have you with us!

SK

thanks, patriciarose. I saw this exact definition online this morning. It sounds pretty on point and it settles my mind a great deal.

Sure. It's just something thats in my subconscious constantly like most people here right? All of us feel overwhelmed with the fibro and often wish that it would go away. Looks like the dreams aren't going to stop then lol.

Yes when I do dream it is weird stuff. Last night I had a dream that all my teeth fell out and I went to the dentist and he put them back in with super glue and told me not to eat anything hard to chew because they would fall out. When I got up I had to check to make sure I still had my teeth LOL

Aww I hate "losing teeth" dreams. They are horrible aren't they! Or when they go really loose, and braces suck too! They are actually quite common (more than flying dreams) and there's a few reasons for them. They often symbolise our anxiety and loss of power/control somewhere in our lives. They could be a fear of getting older too, or a fear of failure or letting go of something.

If the superglue doesn't hold up, I've got some good stuff if you need it lol.

Wow, Jo, I'm sorry that you have so many personal cares in your real life. It's got to be hard worrying about your mum when she should be the one doing the worrying, but life can be like that.

I have intense dreams about my 23 year old son, only he's a small child again. He's in daycare or school and is acting up very much (which he did during my divorce) and the teachers and I can't get him back to a neutral place. In my dreams, he won't learn or socialize and I feel horrible fear and grief...the same sort of emotions that you're experiencing. Funny that as ill as we are, we're worried about our family members, instead.

I've had those too, only the teeth are all cracking. Then, several years later, they started doing just that. Boy, talk about a nightmare coming true.

It's ok Petunia.

My life has been a roller coaster, or a Jerry Springer show lol. She can't handle my problems, which is upsetting and a bit annoying to be honest. I have to pretend everything is "great" and be strong for her. My dad and bro have serious probs too that I have to cope with and be strong there too, so it gets v lonely suffering on my own. Awwwwww poor me lol.

Hey do you think your son in your dream could represent you in a way? lol. Just came in my head. Sorry. You wouldn't be the only one. I am a naughty girl sometimes lol. You can tell me to p off if you want. I just got this image in my head of a little girl (cute and cheeky little girl), you as a child, acting up a little, and people are trying to calm you down, including you as an adult now. Does that make sense?

Yes we do worry a lot, more about other people than ourselves sometimes.

Aww I've got a cute little image of you as a cheeky little girl stuck in my head now lol. Such a sweetie...

Sweet dreams Pet!!

Hi Amy: I was still mauling over your dream about the teeth falling out and found another dream book with a definition...I didn't like this one and will share it but PLEASE let me know if this does or doesn't happen as I am always testing out the books i get to see what's true or not ...I hope this makes sense to you and our inner spirits are the only ones with the answers to all our questions or dreams that we have.

okay here goes; TEETH: To see teeth predicts sickness to come and disagreeable people. To see your teeth falling out foretells death, and grief will come to you soon.

I pray that none of this comes true but we have to keep an open mind on what the future holds for us or in any given situation ...how and what we do when things happen in our waking life is important to our well being...holding on and having a strong will to digest this all is very faithful to ones soul....God Bless you in all that you do Amy

Oh, I dream journaled for years, and years, had many books on dream interpretations at one time, when I needed to trim down my library, I gave those to my best friend.

Intractable pain has changed my life, sleep is so elusive that I just have not focused on remembering dreams, I seem to have spend so many years in search of a quick fix, then just a dx, then the right med, still working on sleep and memory, and acceptance.

I am getting ready to refocus on reading this library I have collected all of my life, and if I have to write it page by page to retain it, I will try that if my hands and wrists will co-operate!

But as for dreams, I was always interested and aware, just got away from it.

A bad dream just woke me up at 4 a.m. Ugh! At least I realized at some point that I was dreaming and was able to turn it around at the end and make it end more positively, but I was still anxious and stressed during most of the dream.

One thing I've noticed is that I'm more likely to dream if I fall asleep with my nightstand lamp on. Of course, there are nights when I can't FALL ASLEEP without the light on. Last night I was just so tired and fell asleep before I was ready.

Last weekend I bought a Nook with a built-in nightlight/book light. I really like it and it has been helping me get to sleep more easily. When I get tired of reading, I just shut the Nook cover and go to sleep.
