Feeling really bad Burning and Stinging

I am feeling Horrible even my face has been stinging me:( No support at the home front feeling down:(. My whole body hurts as well.

Actually doing raft right now lol. I believe it was a combination of doing to much and the exercise. I don’t know:(. My Husband isn’t helping either.:frowning:

I'm so sorry, that sounds horrible. I have some neuropathy issues that feel like hot embers or sometime my whole body seems to tingle just under the skin, or a rush of prickles from toes to knees...freaky stuff! I'm glad to have an explanation and diagnosis. You need to keep your doctor informed about anything new. Perhaps some neurological testing might answer some questions.

One thing I have done with success when the tingles won't go away...I take a hot as I can stand shower and that stinging overpowers the episode. I have learned little tricks along the way that work for me and with nerves, the brain can only process one at a time so if you can provide some sort of distraction from the REAL PAIN for a bit, the brain forgets about the other thing going on, you stop the distraction and WA LA! No tinglies! Doesn't always work but even every once in a while is great in my world.

I hope you find relief soon. Be sweet to yourself!

Always~Laurel aka Northwoods G-Ma

Thank you I am taking a hot bath. You think it’s the combination cleaning working out and getting jugs of water?

Thank you northwoods:) I am soaking in a hot bath now! Lol
Thanks for the advice. When you get in a confrontation with Simeone that can cause a flare right? Like getting emotionally upset? I mean I had this flare before this episode hopefully it don’t get worse.:frowning:

I am so sorry you are feeling awful. My hands and feet can burn like that and sometimes ice packs help me. Sometimes I swear my hands are on fire, especially my fingers. Hope you feel better quickly.

Sorry to hear that your suffering too:( thank you for the advice.

Hi Janelle,

Keep focusing on that bath! Sounds lovely! Try not to think of those who aren't helping. You can't solve that one today, especially considering your pain level. So just let go in that bath and reeelax.

I forget what you're on, Janelle, didn't you say Cymbalta? And you're fairly new to it? Then hopefully it'll kick in within the next few days and help you feel somewhat better. If not, then maybe a call in to your doctor sometime soon?

I'll also suggest the SalonPas pain pads again. They're over-the-counter and are helpful in taking the pain level down. Of course, I slap on a whole bunch of them in one area. They do help.
