Fibro fog or senior moments?

Yes I sure was. It could of certainly been taken the wrong way !!

Thank u all for making me laugh so hard!

I guess one of my funny moments was putting on my earring and not noticing that 2 other hoop earrings were hanging off of it. Nobody mentioned it all day. My hair was shorter then and it was really noticeable. I didn’t see it til I got home from work.

I often lock myself out of house and car too. I have poured cereal into my coffee mug too many times. LOL

You may have started a new earring trend, Sunny! LOL!

LOL, that's actually very funny and endearing. Like bohemian and quirky-fun. As SK said, you could start a new trend this way.

Oh dear! Poor baby had a good "night's" sleep that day! Hope the teacher didn't take it personally. :-D

Years ago I accidentally locked my young son in the car when I was at a bank machine. It was snowing and at night, I believe. Someone gave me a lift back to my house so I could get my spare set of keys and drove me back. I cringe every time I remember that - but it was...FIBRO FOG! Or else my ADD.

I once asked a dear friend of mine what his definition of 'bohemian' was, his answer was, the furniture is dusty, not problem, the floors are dirty, no problem, and the list went on and on. So from that definition, I am becoming more and more bohemian. My home used to be a show place, not any more, of course I am waiting to have half of the house's roof reshingled, so deep cleaning is just not goint to happen yet!

SK, I hire someone to do the heavy cleaning. Well worth it. She goes above and beyond what I ask her to do. If you can manage the expense I highly recommend it. She even folds my laundry. I can’t afford to have her come often but she keeps the house from being condemmed. LOL

Awww you guys... Just cheers you up knowing I'm not on my own here. Although I wish I was sometimes so no one else had the pain etc. But the funny... I am laughing my socks off! (probaly odd or not even there actually! Haha!!) I'm so glad I found this site, so much better than face book. lol. Although we could do with a few games or something...

All of us illustrious characters on this site, and she wants GAMES??? LOL!!!

One doctor told me to try memory strengthening games, might help fibro fog. Forget it! It stressed me out so bad cause I couldn't keep up and I ended up with a whopping headache, had to go lay down. I'll live with the fog.

LMAO!! It would be interesing though lol. Better not get one with a timer though, coz i zone out for too long. lol

Awww I know what you mean. Thinking does hurt sometimes.

I took my night meds in the morning the other day. Could not figure out why I felt so sleepy at 9:00 am and figured it was just a bad fatigue day until I saw what I had done. Took a little nap that day. I squirt hair gel on my body thinking it is body spray and vice versa. At least my hair smells good (when I have the nerdy to wash it). I often go in the kitchen, open the fridge and stare at it and go lay back down before remembering that I wanted a drink, only to get back up and repeat the sequence three times before finally getting something to drink!

For a while when I was having these episodes, I attributed it to getting old (I just turned 48) and laughed at myself and let others laugh at me. Now people look at me strange and I just laugh and laugh and laugh until I start crying. :frowning:

I say it is better to laugh than to cry and it doesn’t make my head hurt as bad.

the funniest thing i did was i tried putting on my nephews sock and when it didnt fit i asked how did my sock shrink how do socks shrink. my friend then informed me it was not my sock. i felt like such an idiot. we both have ankle socks that look alike. and his ended up with mine somehow.

I poured caesar salad dressing in my coffee at lunchtime. Eeeeeeeew... Glad I noticed before I drank it. Maybe I need to stop trying to multi-task now. Am I turning into a man? lol. Oh please no!!

Making a sour cream pound cake for dinner at my mother-in-law’s:

1st try: forgot to grease and flour the pan and it all stuck

2nd try: had the batter going, cracked and egg and threw the shell instead of the egg in the mixing bowl Witt he mixer going.

(took a break for a couple of hours)

3rd try: got the pan greased and floured, the batter all pretty with no egg shells in it and stuck it in the oven. Five or ten minutes pass and my husband asked me what the measuring cup in the fridge was for. I had left out the sour cream. I was determined to make the damn cake so I took it out of the oven, mixed the sour cream into the pan and put it back in the oven!

It turned out pretty good and by the time we got to this moms house, my oh so wonderful husband had told all about my misadventures and everybody rubbed it in. Gotta love than fibro fog!

Awww hahaha. Thats a goodun. Three times in a row. I love the determination. Nice to be the life and soul of the party too!

You are so funny. I am sure you are laughing with me and not at me. I Just love to be the center of attention. Don’t you know that that is why I choose to be this way, to have FM? I just want the attention. LOL

Have a great day.

Lmao!! You're so funny too!. We've gotta have our perks with this crap job of living with FMS. I always wanted to be different and I got what I wished for lol.

Well fibro fog strikes again. I went to have a cat scan today and when I went to the desk to sign in I signed my father's name instead of mine. Then the girl asked me for my medical cards and I gave her my Visa.
