Fibro, pregnancy and birth

Hi friends!!

I hope you all enjoyed a good christmas and the coming New Year!

Just a quickie question if you could help me out here again. As most of you know I am pregnant with my first child. I'm 30 weeks today and starting to think about the birth. Ok I'm shizz scared lol if you want to know the truth.

Can you tell me from your experience what helped you get through the pain of labour? What painkiller(s) did you use? In the UK I have only heard of Epidural, pethidine and gas and air. Can you tell me if it was when you had fibro or before to give me an idea of whether they will be effective during having fibro please?

Hi Jo

I was thinking about you the other day. I had a epidural with my last child. I actually felt better during my pregnancy and as soon as you see the baby every thing will be fine. Let us know how you are doing.

Hi Purplebutterfly,

Did you have fibro with the last child? If so did it cause a lot of pain to have it done and/or any pprolonged pain after? I'm a bit worried about having an injection like that into my spine.
