After a week + of painful, brain foggy, fatigue filled days, I am starting to feel better. I slept most of the day yesterday and just rested, my body and mind. Thanks to my dear husband for allowing me to do so without making me feel guilty. I'm still in pain and tired, but the fog is lifting which helps me deal with the other symptoms better.
Please be encouraged friends. Listen to your body, if/when you can. Rest, if you are able, and try not to feel guilty about it. Reach out when you need help getting through the darker days. Do your best to keep your body nourished and hydrated with healthy choices; especially when feeling the worst (very difficult for me to do). Fortunately, as bad as it can be/is, there are better days ahead.
Thank you everyone for your kind words of encouragement and empathy. Your thoughtfulness meant a lot to me.
Kim I am so glad you are feeling a little better and that you have a supportive husband. What you say is so true. I have learned that I have to take one day a week for my self, although I do forget it sometimes when I am feeling better. It doesn’t take me long to remember. Lol.
Take care of your self

Good to hear you are feeling a little better. Your advice is spot on, and those of us that have understanding partners, family or friends are blessed. And of course all the lovely people in this community are here too.
Kim, it's so nice to hear that you're feeling better. Sleep is a wonderful thing! Our body does its repair work when we sleep, so no wonder we need so much sleep. We must have a lot of frazzled nerves and foggy minds to repair all night long. And from from some research I read, our mitochondria can't convert used energy back into energy after the first go round, although it's supposed to be able to, hence our need for all of that sleep! We really , literally, do need more hours to restock our depleted energy stores
Sorry, I went off off on a tangent, getting really tired so should sign off before it all turns into a steaming hot mess of half-cooked prattle.
