Happy New Year Eve everyone! Well I didn’t get the flu shot this year and here I am day 2 of the flu . The cough is the worst I think not to mention the fever . But my fever have broke. NP have me script for Z pack and cough medicine…
Just wondering have anyone else had or have the flu…
Oh LaDonna, so sorry you are going through this. We all had it, My Mom, husband and I woke up with it one morning, and we had it for a good month, had the antibiotics for 10 days with cough syrup.
Every year I had planned to get the shot, but always had the flu by the time the shots were available, well this year I cannot get the shot if I wanted to, being on a disease modifier!
I surely hope that the meds knock this out of you quickly and completely!

Hi Ladonna, I am sorry you have the flu. That sucks! I got my flu shot and so far this winter (other than a pesky tumor) I have not been sick and I usually get the crud- sinus, cough, low grade fever- every year. But I quit smoking also so I am sure that is helping. I hope you feel better soon. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
