Fun at the doctors lol

Good luck Katie! xoxo

We're all here for you Katie, this whole gang of wounded warriors! We will be sending good thoughts and prayers your way, waiting to hear from you when you are ready to tell us!

God's speed!

Love and hugs,

the group at FMS

Just called the doctor and she said I have a herniated disk in t11-12. She is just telling me to exercise. Not sure how that's gonna make it better, but I can give it a shot. The problem is that the more exercise I do today the more I pay the next day.

hope this fixes it.

Hey Katie,

I'm glad you got seen and given a diagnosis. The stress of not knowing is the worst bit sometimes isn't it?! Try not to over do it. You will find your balance with the exercise.

Take care!!

Jo

They have to treat you and they will work out a no- or low-interest payment plan. I had surgery years ago when I had no insurance, and I paid $25 a month forever and a day... but they finally got paid! More important to take care and get sorted out now. My husband had back surgery and when they cut him, they found a severed nerve casing; told me, he could have sneezed and been permanently disabled. Jeez.

I don't know. If I wait till June my husband and I will be moving to germany where I can take care of it all on the federal insurance. Till then I think the best thing is just stick with the simple stuff and go from there.

Has anyone ever heard of lumboradicular syndrome or Cotungo's Disease? There isn't much info out there and that's what the radiologist says I have.

Yeah, national health system is much better in many European countries. Hope you can safely hang on until then.

yeah I don't know and the doctors don't know and I paid $750 for a MRI and still don't really know anything. I'm just worried that it's getting worse. I can't feel my legs below my knees if I don't press hard and other personal problems have started.

You are right- couldn’t find much, but here is one website I found. Looks like it is treatable. Good luck.
