I'm really pleased for you and pleased it seems to be going to plan for you right now. It would be good for you to be able to get proper medication for the nights and the pain too, and of course a cutie kitty too!
Good luck with everything sweetie! You really deserve it
Thank you, Eeyoreluver. That's a very fair promise and a smart attitude to have.
I know how hard it is for everyone right now financially. I totally understand people needing more money coming in, in order to keep the household running. That's completely real.
But, on the other hand, working in pain can be very bad. For instance, although I wasn't feeling too badly today, I still managed to hit a curb while parking, ruining a tire. That's 2 or 3 days of pay for me. Then I managed to cut my leg on something rusty while delivering so had to run to the doctor to get a tetanus shot. See what I mean? When we're not up to par, these things seem to pile on us.
Just be very, VERY careful for yourself and the kids. And don't let those 2 teachers abuse your hours or workload. You take good care of yourself, Eeyore! And let us know how you're doing!
Aww thats a pain. I have done that myself. The tire that is. Sound like a bad day Petunia but you still came back positive (well I can't hear you cursing from here...).
i am actually getting paid cash. i do feel bad about the fact i am working and ss will not know. i really need the insurance and i cant get any on my own.
Congrats on getting the job so fast! It must have been meant to be. I wish you well. Maybe as a special treat after working all week, schedule yourself for a massage. It may help you preserevre.
Just a suggestion, mind you. With my doggie duty, it is more physical that I expected. So, once a week, if I have extra's (funds) I schedule myself a massage. And, oh you feel like a million bucks. Keep us updated, how you do. God Bless u.
I started my job yesterday my hours will b shorter till the mom actually starts teaching next Friday. I am happy that is the case because after not working for 3 years I know starting to work every day will take a toll on my body. Yesterday was a great day. I only had about 4 hours of sleep the night before but it still ended up being a fun filled day. The boys r very good and for the most part listen very well. Last night I got into bed aind passed right out no w iaking up in the middle of the night… I am very sore today I am sure most of that is from yesterday but its supposed to rain tomorrow so I am sure that is playing a part too.
I hope it works out for you, Eeyoreluver. It's obvious how much you love children and missed being with them. I hope the hours work out too.
Yep, rainy days will make us extra sore. I love Teresa's suggestion of getting a massage at the end of the week if you can afford to. You will have earned it!
I'm glad that so far, so good. I'm so glad for you.
Do you still want me to write that letter to your mom? I'm sorry I haven't yet. I haven't forgotten but last week and this one have been truly busy and exhausting at work, so I pass out when I get home. Please let me know and I'll def. get to it!
Thank you. I am really happy I did take the chance and start this job. I know I may feel different about my decision later but today and yesterday have gone really well. I think however on of the twins is getting sick he has eaten much today and has just wanted to b held. I am sitting on the couch and I am ready to pass out even though its only 4pm. I know I will sleep good again.
I have to say if working makes me tired like this and I am able to sleep really good each night I will b happy …
Again, congrats and I am delighted it seems to be a good match. Maybe once you get to know the family, they might consider helping pay for health insurance ?
It sounds like you have a real gift when it comes to childcare. Best of luck!
That's true. I find I struggle with working sometimes but it does help my body get into a routine because I sleep (pass out) better at night. However, I couldn't manage your hours, but carpentry etc is physically demanding, even though I don't do really heavy jobs all the time.
I hope the rest of you week goes well, and will catch up with you soon!
well so far things r going good with my job. the parents r very nice and the boys r very good. things with me r ok i am very sore and achy. but i am sleeping really good at night. i no more get in bed and i am out cold. my headaches and mirgraines seem to b gone at least for now.
this week i havent had to work all day next friday will b my 1st full day of working a full day and having to be there at 5:30am. i am glad i have had this time to slowy get into the grove. i am hoping i can do it. the night before my 1st day i only had 3 1/2 hours of sleep and i was able to make it all day without a problem.
Good luck, little Eeyore. May your pains be quiet enuff for you to do this job, and may you get some restful sleep, finally. It sounds like your pleurisy and infection are finally on the way out, so all in all, things sound good for you right now.
Of course, we miss you here but real life comes first.
i do think the pleaurisy is responding to the antibodic i am on even though it was not priscribed for it. i do really miss everyone on here. i hope to get on during the day when the boys r napping.
