I told you all I had been having some remarable days over the last 2months! Well stuff hit the fan on Monday, I have beenin pain o much that my dr upped my pain meds and movedcmeds arounnd hoping it will help. So on top of dealing with the mostexcruiating pain ever. I get a letter from my ins company saying that I have used all if my specialists visits! What the heck am I going to do. I have 3 appts all with specialists next week. I can't nit go o my nuerologist with the brain damage, and hopkins is trying to find out why I have move.en t disorder issues. Any suggestions are welcome. I'm at my wits end

Take a deep breath and try to calm down. First, let me say how sorry I am that you are going thru this. Stress is so hard for us to deal with. Hopefully, what they mean is that you need a new referral for you specialists. In my case, my PVP has to refer me to a specialist so they refer me for multiple months at one time. So if I were you I would check with my PVP and ask them about it and remind them you need your referrals renewed. I am really hoping that is all it is. Please let us know what you find out.

hi jackie. i thought i replied to you but i dont see my post here. i may have forgotten, lol. but i know in my case i have a lot of specialists and i believe they have to put in authorization for approval. i hope they can do this for you as well. If the docs notes on your chart are in line with you needing these visits i believe they get approved. i send you all the best on your journey. with much love and HUGGGGGS

Hi all, just a quick update. My ins company did cut me off however my Dr's have all agreed to bill my visits differently each time so that they are covered. I am very stressed as not only has my health taken a crap, but my 17 yr old step son had to be put into drug rehab 3 weeks ago. My husband and I and his bio mom and stepdad have been traveling 6 hrs round trip every weekend to see him. I really think that the stress sent me into a major flare. Its very disheartening to see a child go through that awful ordeal, he is such a well mannered,respectful young ! The counselors all compliments us all on what a great kid he is,,,,we are all just thankful to finally have him where he is so that he can get the help he needs, I want to thank you all for your support and encouragement. I am being seen in Hopkins tomorrow so hopefully we will get some answers, I will post after my visit, gentle hugs to all.
