Hi…how can I find a doctor in my area that treats Fibro?

Hi PAtty5, you can Google “fibromyalgia doctors” in your area. You can also search for rheumatologists in your area. Call to see if: 1.they treat fibro and 2.they are taking new patients. If you don’t have access to Internet, try your local library. Another way is to ask friends or neighbors if they can recommend someone. You’d be surprised at how many people are living with or know someone who has fibro.

Patty, all your profile says is “Powell”. What part of what country is that in? Members here can often recommend good doctors if they know where you are.

Suggestion: edit your post using the little grey pencil tool icon and change the title to “Can you recommend a doctor in xxxxxxxxxxx?”
