Teesa I too had to leave my LNA job. Which makes me sooo sad I LOVED my residents like they were my own family. But the nursing home I worked at consistently short staffed us to save themselves a buck. So I had to get more people up and taken care of in the same time it took to do three less. It was a mad house. So after work I would literally fall onto my bed and would be passed out before i even hit the mattress. Sometimes i didn't even remember driving home id just be in my car and my husband would call my phone and ask me why I was still sitting in the car. Truth was I was so sore and exhausted I was almost catatonic. I hope SSD works out for you!! Best of luck and soft hugs!!
If you ever need to talk im here. ^.^
