Main issues at the moment:

1) Seeing if 3 cold showers every night further stabilizes the better sleep to increase the cortisol that acupuncture is stimulating.

2) Research-searching and soon trialling if it’s true that copper with retinol (type of Vit. A) help iron transport oxygen to the mitochondria to increase ATP for energy. That’s supposedly certain (natural) types of bioavailable copper and of vitamin A.

3) Histaminey foods definitely sometimes seem to be causing histaminey problems, so gotta keep up those trials.
4) Keeping the esophagus blocks in check more: bad one to day, with a really big bolus.
5) Hope my new tooth problem, a thorn between two teeth, has “dissolved”.

The 2nd and 3rd cold show worked fairly well again, 2h stints each at least, whilst the first before bedtime only lasted for an hour, then even less, only another half hour - whilst 6 lasted 2h, perfectly timed.

ACTIVITIES (aim: 40% energy)ACHE: 80%/2, TT :ping_pong: 0:2, except I shot my wad at the beginning, leading 15:4, and then crumbled down completely, exactly the other way round to recently losing the first game and winning the 2nd 2. ➔ 80%/3 :white_check_mark:, acupuncture ➔ 60%/4 :x:. Resting a lot, but feeling an urge to do something towards the evening, and managed 30’ of intense but task-switching housework, and still might do my grocery shopping. Don’t feel like doing any work at the moment, and not too much forum work, just specific questions, seems an overload. A bit of The Big Bang Theory was OK, but made me laugh and then cry again, then the esophagus block came and I start thinking this bloody ain’t fair.
ACTIONSPAINS: :white_check_mark: except: neck :white_check_mark: GI :white_check_mark:, except severe esophagus block at 15:00, decided to get it out quickly, which was right, cos the bolus was enormous. Jaw slight :white_check_mark: 1xp1-2 :white_check_mark: (some atypical time). When I don’t specifically make remarks about lying, sitting, standing etc. that will still mean that it is all a bit of problem, sometimes more sometimes less. Compared with normal people maybe a severity of 80%, whilst I keep under the limits of 10-40’ without realizing that any more, which shows how my percentages above may not comparable to others.
MCAS/HIT-Symptoms/Triggers/Treatments: :white_check_mark: Except lack of real energy as ever. :x:. Praps try avocado, olives, vinegar, mustard and soy/tofu again? Watching fatigue? Reduced histaminey stuff and sinus pain also reduced, so seems to prove the connection once again. Post-nasal drip most of the morning, till about 16:00. No sinuses after green beans and bits of soft goat cheese, a fig or two. I’m still blaming the baked beans, altho they have been OK in the past too. Maybe the total load, or too much of them.

Copper and retinol for more energy?!

If it’s retinol and copper that I’m deficient in, and iron too high, what can I eat, esp. as a pretty-vegan 9 Foods Rich In Retinol (Preformed Vitamin A) To Meet Your Vitamin A Needs

  • Baked sweet potato, 1 whole: 1,403 mcg RAE
  • Carrots, raw, 1 cup: 918 mcg RAE
  • Kale, boiled, 1 cup: 886 mcg RAE
    1 mcg of physiologically available retinol comes from just 12 mcg of beta-carotene but needs 24 mcg of alpha-carotene and beta-cryptoxanthin.
    This compares to vegetarian:
  • Goat’s cheese (hard), 1 oz: 136 mcg
  • Cheddar cheese, 1 oz: 94 mcg

A lot of this sounds very oversimplified, just the name “root cause protocol” or arguments people you used to be healthy 100 or 1000 years ago, which is silly. And it sounds like Kuklinski, talking about NO, whose protocol I already tried 3x in my first fibro year. But it’s different, and seems to fit, what with copper changing something and iron deposits.

Bee pollen, real vitamin C and grass fed beef liver. Best supps - not easy to work with - from “Reverse Skin Aging”-author Loren Pickart. He’s developed GHK-Cu Peptide, which has a lot of studies on pubmed, I’ll see if they show it seems to work? He doesn’t recommend any others, just says there are many which don’t.

In the 5 phases named here, I’m doing 16 of 29 = 55% of what it says already and definitely don’t tolerate some of them, like taurine and normal vitamin C, not at all sure about the (ConcenTrace I guess) “mineral drops” (Mg Cl Na K SO3 Li Bo). The “adrenal cocktail” contains orange juice (which I don’t tolerate), a potassium source (which I have more than enough of), Himalayan salt (which I use every day on my raw veggies), some add coconut water, which I often have yogurts of. In my microalgae for Ω3 I also have 3mcg of D3 and 2mg of vit. E, naturally. Vitamin E complex reminds me of Kuklinski distinguishing 8 types of vit. E which I took for many months without helping.

However here everything it says suggests I have tons of magnesium in my food (pumpkin seeds, quinoa, almonds, cashews, beans, dried figs, dark chocolate, sea salt). I take the supps they suggest too, but some of their recommendations don’t fit to what I’ve read elsewhere - it’s based on what Robbins says that magnesium citrate is synthetic and inhitibs ceruloplasmin, something very important to him.
