Jitters?

Do any of you have what I call the jitters?

I have a strange sensation like how the body feels when you have the flu but inside. Then a jittery or jumpy movement and it's over in 3 seconds.

I asked my Dr in December 2011 when they first started. I don't think he understood me.They were mild then but now they're stronger, my whole body moves. I get them when I'm about to get a flare or when I'm already in a flat, It changes I would like to know if it is a symptom of fibromyalgia or a a side effect of meds.

Funny thing is my son has the same thing. He said they started on his second tour to Afganistan. His are very strong. His whole body moves

I meant to say his whole body jumps. His VA Dr said he has seen this in other soldiers returning home. It's part of their PTSD.

I was thinking the same thing. I need to ask my Dr about Cymbalta and the night sweats. I'll ask him again about this.I've never heard anyone mention this. It's a very strange sensation. Be well Lovett and thank you for being here.

Hi Nova

I have seen side effects of meds do this. I would see the doctor again. Maybe you could catch one on video so he could see what is happening. I hope you and your son both get better.

I know a lot of people who have this. In my area they are called the heebie-jeebies. I don't know what causes them, but people with or without fibro can get this. Its a CNS (central nervous system) reaction of some kind.

Sheila, I like the word heebie- jeebies. I'll mention it to me son. When I get home I am going to talk to Mr Dr about this CNS, thank you.
