I am newly diagnosed and still adjusting to the pain, fatigue and all that goes with fibro. I know I have had this for several years and just couldn't get the diagnosis to go with the disease. The pain is so intense when I get up in the morning I cant hardly move. I walk and I keep moving and I feel better but the minute I stop and rest even for just 20 to 30 minutes my body starts attacking me again. My sleep has improved greatly since the doctor has put me on Trazadone for its side effects, (Sleep) This latest flare is horrible the worst I have had. I have to work and do everyday chores but its so hard to do when the pain is raging through your body, and your so fatigued you have to force your self to get things done.
I'm taking Tramadol for pain and it does help, but more often than not it doesn't help enough. Its terrible your so tired you just want to rest and when you do as soon as you get up to move the debilitating pain hits you with a vengeance.
The greatest asset you can have is a dr who listens and is willing to try whatever it takes. No treatment seems to work 100% of the time but keep at it until you find what works best for you. If you’re dr isn’t willing find one who is. Some can be quite callous about our condition. DO NOT put up with that kind of treatment! !!
Hello Kasey just wanted to send positive and well wishes to you, I am having headaches that are almost unbearable
and they keep me from being able to concentrate and collect my thoughts , but doing my best to reach out to you
to let you know we care and listen to your concerns this group is amazing and I know you will find lots of support here. I hope you find some relief soon . Hang in there, Gentle Hugs, Blessings Bobbye
Sending good vibes your way Kasey. If I may, I would suggest you ask your doctor to put you on a medicine that specifically treats musculoskeletal pain. Such as Cymbalta or another medicine that you're comfortable with taking.
