In the last two weeks or so I really haven’t had a appetite. I may eat one meal a day and have a small snack at night. Food isn’t really appealing to me lately. Has anyone experienced this before?

I do this during the summer. My doctor put me on wellbutrin one time and i couldnt take it because i didnt eat at all taking it.
If it doesnt get better after a couple of weeks i would see the doctor and make sure that their wasnt something else going on.
When i start loosing my appetite i try and eat fruit and snack on something small to keep my strength up.
I had this happen as well. I don’t know if is from the Fibro or the med I am on.
I have been eating small things like yogurt, Nutragrain bars, fruit, maybe even fudge bar or a Hot Pocket. When I work I don’t until I take my lunch at 3:00pm and then I have a small snack when I get home at 9:00pm. The only new meds I am taking is the Gabapentin and Trazadone.

Trea,
You should get this checked out. It may be fibro or maybe something else that fibro has caused. For instance, my appetite is very poor currently, but I've had a stomach ulcer before and that was one of the warning signs of it. The ulcer originally cam from my taking too much Ibuprofin for the fibro pain. It's like a catch-22, which pain can you tolerate the most, the fibro or the ulcer? I was chosing the ulcer pain, thus the Ibuprofin. But now I'm paying for it. So it could certainly be possible that something else is going on with you. Ulcers also cause bloating, pain and gas. Or maybe it's something else entirely, like your thyroid. Whatever it is, you should have it looked into, to be safe.
I will definitely make an appointment with my doctor. I know it’s not my thyroid because I’m on Synthyroid and my rheumatologist test my thyroid and it was fine. Also, I don’t take ibuprofen. The only thing I can think of is the depression. I have been dealing with depression since my dad passed away in September 2012. It’s been exactly 21 months today and I haven’t moved on yet or haven’t gotten over it yet.

I have had the same problem for the last month or so. Nothing tastes good or sounds good. I haven't changed any of my meds.Just came up all of a sudden. Went to doctor had blood work done , all came back good except my hormones were out of whack and my dr. said I was in perimenopause and because I have the fibromyalgia too I may be just super sensitive because I have been having IBS , anxiety attacks and sleep issues along with a weird rushing sensation which she says may be a form of hot flash. And of course that has triggered a flare like I have not seen in years. I guess I hit 50 and fell apart!
I eat small meals, snack a lot on fruit and fresh veggies and drink ensure drinks to help get the extra nutrients. When my IBS acts up I feel like everything I eat goes right through me so I want to try and get as much nutrition as I can. Although, if you haven't been to a doctor lately you may want to get a checkup. Huggs and feel better!
You can also try the Ensure drinks as they will help to sustain you. They are almost meal replacements. Core Power protein drinks are also good.
