Memory loss issues

I understand that can be frustrating. All of the moderators are volunteers and members are in many different time zones so sometimes people are on and sometimes not. I am sorry you are having memory loss issues. A lot of people experience Fibro fog, including myself. It is frustrating

my husband who is normally very kind, loving and patient seems aggravated and corrects me constantly which is not like him. its definitely starting to worry me. i am forgetting the dumbest things. its gotten worse over the past month. i think one thing and do another. i know there are fibro fogs and i am actually hoping that this is what it is. i am starting to think that i have dementia or alhziemers or something.

Hi hopeful2… I am sorry for what you are going through.perhaps you can
get some literature that explains this condition with the memory/fibrofog
and ask him to read it. You might also take him to your doctor who knows
about these symptoms and have him hear about it for himself. As they say,

perhaps that is a way to go. he is struggling with what to do also i suppose. he really is an awesome husband. this seems to be throwing us both for a loop. i think he is worried it might be more as well. i do plan to talk to my doctor about it soon. depression is setting in slowly. it makes me cry immediately when he corrects me because its just not him. plus it makes me feel worse because i already know i am doing it just not why.

Hi I know for me I have noticed the more stressed I am the worse the Fibro fog. I really try to practice deep breathing, visualization, and other mindfulness techniques as much as I can. Isn’t easy but it does help me some. Suzie had a great idea to show him some literature. Hugs.

thank you everyone for your kind words, ideas and hugs!! Hugs are always welcome. do any of you do yoga? i will try to find some breathing techniques. is this something that you do on a regular basis or when something happens?

Honestly I usually do deep breathing every day. I have tried yoga but it didn’t seem to work for me and I didn’t really enjoy it. I know there are other people here who find yoga very useful.
