I was diagnosed a week ago. I’ve always had general pain through my body but now I’ve been given a diagnosis. I’m struggling to understand which pain is fibro and which pain is just from overdoing it or sleeping weird,
Thanks for any help!

We sure can have pain from other things, it can be hard to know when its from what…
As a matter of fact, a lot of us will have a pain we do not understand , and just assume its the fibro…
When we are busy using our muscles , they usually pay us back. I really like topical pain relievers for a nagging pain area…it can really dial that area back.
Over time you will learn through trial and error the things that help you most. And ask questions
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback
Keeping a pain diary helps me to know what triggers different sorts of pain. I was diagnosed 8 months ago and I feel I have a good idea now about what is just fibro and what is something that I can adjust or change to get rid of the pain. Usually my fibro pain will change day by day, but if there is a persistent pain, I figure out that there is something causing it (e.g. bad posture while driving or sleeping). So if I have a severe nerve pain in my arm one day and it disappears the next day, it’s just the fibro. If I have a specific neck pain that is sore every day, I figure out where I am straining my neck or how I can fix my posture or alter my activities to ease this. I figured a lot of this out by keeping my pain diary and noticing how my body feels throughout the day. Hope this can be of some help!
That’s a lot of help. Thank you so much Dee
