Pain,Dr,meds,vitimins, questions/thoughts

Hello, this is a nice group. I have read so much on here so far since I had been added. And found so many other medications and options. That now I am not sure of what I am taking but it helps little what I am using , but I know there is room for adding vitimins and so on. I really want to feel better I was a highly active person , been hurting for over 9 years finally told maybe fibro before christmas when I just could not get up and when I did I cried . I never skiied this year I never hiked since fall , I never scuba dived since last year . I have a dog now and another on the way some time, and if it wasnt for having a dog I wouldnt even get out of bed some days . However what I am taking makes me to sleepy and it is annoying to me . Some days are ok, while some just slay me , this week was ok I even went for a walk but paid for it. But my eldest son said something to me yesterday that made me realize my children my family are paying attention something is very wrong . He said I read that walking will help avoiding to try to go for a walk may impair you more in the future, I remember when you could do it all, and with some time you will. I cried. Last night I found energy after a week of training to clean up and I went and over did it and today I was in my pjs all day and sitting around . My doctor said he will not give me pain meds and thinks I dont need it but it is the pain meds that help me have little more value of living .He thinks that I am being addicted I felt like a drug addict and felt ashamed for even asking . I have read and need more information on how to find a doctor to help me properly mine was good for when I had babies now for my needs he doesnt have enough empathy . And would like to know which vitimins can help I heard so far a multi vitimin with extra minerals and Vitimin D . If anyone can suggest anything for me for meds dr's vitimins ocmfort please let me know thank you for your time in reading my venting . gentle hugs all around.

Hello Alesandra
I saw this posted, did you check it out?

I take cymbalta and lyrica, Ibuprofen, Tylenol, B12, and sometimes a multi women’s vitamin. FYI

I do know a lot of others take vitamin D, I think their blood tests show it is low, I’m not sure if mine is, but most likely it is too.

Hope this helps.

Hi Alesandra,

My Chiropractor is my vitamin guru, they know vitamins like AMA Doctors know meds.

My most important vitamin is CAL/MAG 2001 for bone and muscle health, he tells me I can take 2 in AM, 2 in PM, and it helps the spasms and restless leg. This also has Calcium Citrate, the only kind of Calcium that actually absorbs to strengthen bones.

I boost the Vitamin D, take B12 liquid, take additional potassium and a chewable B complex (they are easier to digest than a pill) and take Integrative Therapeutic Clinical Nutrients for age 45 plus. You can purchase this by age, we get to an age where iron is not only no longer needed but harmful, UNLESS you are iron deficient. I also take a probiotic daily.

I'm guessing you are much younger so here is the kind WITH IRON

My Internist ran blood work to see if I was vitamin deficient, and none were found. It's a good idea for you to speak to your physician to find out if the normal dose is sufficient, or if you need more, as we are all so very different.

I also take Omega 3's but have trouble digesting them, even though I've heard that keeping them in the freezer prevents indigestion from them, I still have a problem. I have heard the claims that krill oil is much easier to digest.

Hope this is a help to you, but be sure to talk to your Doc!
