i just finished 6 day steroid pack for Lupus flare up. It seems to have helped take the edge of my pain. Today I got up and my skin and tissue hurt on my shoulders, neck, back, waist. Is this Fibromyalgia pain? I’ve had this before a few times last year before being diagnosed but this time it’s so painful!.

I am sorry you are in so much pain. Have you found anything that works for you when you are feeling this way? I often use a hot bath to soothe the pain. I get the water as hot as I can tolerate it, and it seems to distract my body from the pain. I also use ice packs to ice the areas that are painful or swollen. Salonpas patches are great too if you want an icy/hot soothing feeling on the area that is hurting.

Could be Fibro pain, it seems to affect people in different ways. Could you check with Doc? He might help you to manage pain better, or look on here for suggestions - there are lots! Sorry that you have Lupus as well. Good luck
