I took Savella for about 4 week until my doctor took me off because my blood pressure went through the roof. other than that it helped a lot with the fog and pain. My insurance cover all but $22 .
I am on Savella and it helped me tremendously. I don’t really have many side effects. I did notice it actually made me less hungry and I lost weight on it. It did make my blood pressure go up but it was really low before anyway so not it’s closer to my original normal. I actually like it because it doesn’t give me much in the way of side effects. It didn’t take my pain away during flares or weather changes so my Dr has now added lyrical and (not to jinx it) I feel closer to normal than I have in years. I’m actually even exercising and not taking as many naps as I did before and I can now exercise without feeling like a truck has hit me the next day. I hope you find a good mix for your self. Unfortunately it’s all trial and error. Good luck.
i tried it twice and both times it would cause me to vomit...and never seem to improve so stopped after few days of being sick each time. Plus 2nd time was on lower dose but still did not agree with me.
I had insurance also so co pay picked up most if it costs alot. sorry on this part.
I take Savella and you must eat when taking it. It will upset my stomach if I don't.
Starting tonight first dose---does anyone take them at night instead of 1 in the AM and 1 in the PM? Would that help with nausea! Rough year and 5 doctors later!
All are in my prayers...
I have been on tramadol ... should I let tramadol get out of system or are you saying do not take together? On tram until yesterday and suppose to take 1st savella tonight?
Thanks for any advice!
I take both tramadol and savella
