So glad my Christmas decorations are still up!

Though I have been feelling anything but good, my 2 year old great grandson begged to come, to be with us and stay the night. He was thrilled that everything Christmas was still up, wanted all of it lit up, in every room that was decorated, of course he had to discuss it all again. Then we cuddled up after his bath and watched the Polar Express movie. He was absolutely captivated, and it was a serenity we had not been able to share during the actual holiday visit. There's something to procrastination, you know! Perhaps we'll even get a chance to watch the Grench tomorrow!

BTW, his 3rd birthday is the middle of February, I plan to have a small party for him. Really, I mean small, something easy like Chicken salad sandwiches, chips, cake and icecream, on paper plates. The decorations will be down by then! ha! In my plans anyway!

sounds like a great night. your are a wonerdful grandma. i love when u share your stories about your grandson. i do hope that you r feeling better.

Our great grandson turns 1 on Feb 3, he lives 4 hrs away(Calgary) but we are going to see if we can go , so keep your fingers crossed for me!!!!

We have not seen him too much but modern technology is so wonderful that we feel we have seen him grow this first year.

Gentle Hugs
