I went to work this morning knowing it was going to be a rough day. When my boss comes in he said the treasurer had complained about the amount of hours I had gotten (30 for a week). I had been busy with Mothers Day stuff or it would have been my normal 20 hours or so. Anyway, he told me this and I just burst into tears…not because I cared if someone complained because I don’t, but because I’m sick and not feeling well. I have some sort of rash on my arm which has popped up on my other arm and I believe is now on my face. My blood pressure has been lingering around 140/110, and I’ve had fever. Went to the immediate care clinic yesterday and was told the rash may be shingles. She didn’t try to explain the high blood pressure or fever though. I’m going to try to see my regular doctor tomorrow because I’m an emotional mess today.
Do you guys ever have days like this where the smallest thing will send you to tears?
It’s getting harder to make it through a half day at work and I’m considering applying for SSI (too young for SS).
I totally understand. My emotions are always all over the place. I was just told last week that it may be my Hypothalamus.
I also have lupus and its reeking havoc on my body.
I would highly recommend you mention your rollercoaster emotions to your dr.
Hope everything works out for you!
Hello,
I completely understand how you felt at that moment. That has happened to me before as well. I can be at work, dealing with the pain and exhaustion when one thing will tip me over my breaking point. Don’t be too hard on yourself : ) We endure a lot, on top of the daily normal things we have to get done. I’ve cried at work too when it was just to much to bear…it’s kind of like a system overload and then a reset.
I’m sending lots of hugs your way,
Sara
Things will be fine. I’m just frustrated beyond belief right now. Between my rash and stuff and then work (and the treasurer lied and said it had been several weeks in a row…we work for a church)…I’m just ready to spend the rest of the week in bed.
I understand your frustration and I hope you feel better soon : )
Please keep us updated,
Sara

O.o Shingles? Oh Lord I hope and pray that it is not Shingles.
*hugs*
My regular doctor said it isn’t shingles…just a severe break out caused my contact dermatitis. Due to many allergies he wasn’t able to pinpoint what caused it. I was given blood pressure medicine (what’s one more pill, right?) and steroids to take. I’m in a much better mood now that I’m not so sick.
Hello,
Glad to hear it isn't Shingles : ) I hope you are having a good day.
Hugs,
Sara
