This morning I woke up to sun shining through my curtain. Its been a long long winter full of grey skies and rain. I felt so happy inside and felt a spring in my step (albeit a careful spring!). Anyone else affected by the sight of sunshine?
Hello Theresa
Oh yes, the sunshine, specially after a few cloudy overcast days, makes you smile and you can't refrain from hoping that spring is on its way. And if you stand in the sunshine in your house you can feel its warmth.
This has been such a long and coldwinter with a few slightly warmer days followed by more extremely cold and dark weather.
Bring on Spring!
i love the sunshine i love any kind of weather it all affects me diffenent lupus keeps me from staying out in the sunshine for long periods but i love to walk out side early of a morning and late of an evening just before the sun sets and rises
I live in the arctic tundra…no wait…we used to call it northern Wisconsin. I would chew off my own arm for some nice sunny days!! Vitamin D we need you. You’re our only hope.
love the sunshine, was outdoor type, an avid gardener before health issues. now, have to avoid because of another diagnos plus a med that makes me sun sensitive. I miss it. I used to feel in a better state of mind because I got some sunshine. It is also how we get natural vitamin D, very important to our health. people living with fibro usually test low in vitamin D.
sun rise and set help our bodies know when to wake and when to gear down for the night. one way still get that by having sheers on few windows, so some still gets in without making my lupus kick into gear. (allergic to sunscreen)
wish you more sunny mood lifting days
