I want to know if anyone had done a tatto after having fibromyalgia, was the pain the same or worst? My husband and I want do maching tattoos for our anniversary but I’m afraid that it’s going to hurt. I have tattoos but I don’t know if my body can take it.

Mine didnt bother me any worst than the ones i got before i was diagnosed. I plan on getting another one this summer

My tattoos didn't hurt after my diagnosis. Actually believe it or not, they hurt less than the one I had prior and the 2 newer ones are in more sensitive areas. Good luck!
I did just fine with mine. I have had 3 done and plan on 1 more
tattoos didnt hurt differently but they made whatever area go numb .. what did get worse were piercings i pierced my own lips without batting and eye lash well yes i did i flinched but they pierced me and i cried me tattoo lady who gave birth to a 9lb baby with no meds cried like a baby i was like its just that your hurting me lol :D
I've read several sites dealing with this issue and most fibro people seemed to be okay with getting tattoos, which surprised me. You'd think that it would be a horrific experience but it doesn't seem so, according to them.
What tattoo do you plan on getting, if I may ask?
Hey, I have gotten 3 tattoos since fibro and I actually tend to enjoy the pain because I'm causing it. I know it may sound odd but I've got a high threshold of pain due to the fibro so it tickles more than anything. .
I find with tattoos due to the fact that it's you choosing the pain it is a more manageable pain. I have gotten 3 since my fibro and am going to continue to get more. Hugs
