I was so glad when I found this site today...it was just what I needed...today was rough...it is amazing how stress can affect the pain. Tried to go for a walk and failed miserably...the posts I read today helped to realize I am not alone....so tired of people saying the pain I feel is all in my head....I wish it was that easy...thank you to those who have welcomed me so far.

Welcome to our group! It's good to have you here, that means one less person in the world who feels all alone with their fibro.
It's not all in your head. I have no idea how many pages in this discussion site are devoted to the troubles we face with our fibro. Hundreds, probably. I always suggest to people that they print out some of our conversations and show them to the doubters, so they can see that others also suffer from fibro and face exactly what you do. It's far from an illness that strikes lazy people, as most struck with it are real type A people who gogogo until they literally drop. Fibro likes those people as it wiggles itself into their systems and stays.
Please come again. You'll find many people here who understand you. And your frustrations. And it really feels good to share!

If only anyone who says the pain is in our head could enter our body for just one day. Years ago fibro was easily said to be all in a patients head, but now and the last few years they are finally figuring out it is real… But see the problem is, too many people have been already told its in their head… So it is really hard to explain and prove that we truly have signs and symptoms that would knock anyone out on our worse day, maybe even on my best day 
not that I wish that upon my worst enemy…
