Water therapy

I started my water therapy...it seemed easy enough. I hope to learn what to do in that warm pool so I can continue when I return to work. Maybe doing this after a long day would help to relax my muscles.

Has anyone else done the water therapy and did it help you? How often do you do it?

Hello. I have recently joined this site and have read about water therapy. I had not heard of it before. Can you tell me what it is and how you found somewhere to do it?
Thanks and good luck with your therapy!

I asked my Rheumatologist to send me to warm water therapy to help re-condition my body before I go back and attempt to my job again. I have 8 therapy sessions left on my insurance. I go to a rehab center that also has a gym ... after the therapy sessions are done I get one month free with the health club and access to their pools and saunas...and the hot tub...I am hoping to learn what exercises to do to help me once I am on my own... The warm pool is what I am aiming for. This is new for me so I am asking if others have found this to help.

I hope you have a gym you can check into that has a warm water pool...or ask your Dr. for therapy and be specific about the warm water therapy... I have went once and it is easy on the body just slow movements with the water resisting... now My feet did go into a cramp during one of the stretching exercises...

Thanks for the info. I hope you this helps you feel better!

check your local rec center, there are 2 (90-93 degrees) a few miles from me

they offer arthritis therapy no fibro as far as I can tell

planning on soaking soon as getting in/out of tub is treacherous!
