What brightens your day?

Fibro brings a lot of rough days. When you are having a tough time, what brightens your day? Your garden? A phone call to a friend? Your puppy dog? Your favorite TV show? A soak in the tub? Please share.

My grandkids!!!! Their always coloring me something and seem to understand when i am having a rough day. My daughter got me flower seeds to plant i love all the colors. Soaking in the tub is great. I also read a lot it helps take my mind off feeling bad. I always look for some thing good even if its just seeing a pretty bird out side. its the small things in like that count

Inhale the future exhale the past

I great phone conversation with my sister, and my niece where I can laugh hysterically at nothing, or something! Nothing makes me happier than being w/ family too. Then, a long warm/hot soak in the tub with a great book!

my morning cup ( or 2 ) of coffee. The hope that there will be more and more "good moments" coming, if I activly look for them. Flowers. Wendy Williams "Hot Topics" Looking at the sky. Being able to love, and remembering to do it, often.

Sometimes I just have to take a nap when I get home from work. My 14 year old daughter often comes to cuddle. Most times my bull mastiff comes to cuddle too, it is like she knows when I am having a bad day. Good thing I have a queen size bed, the next might be a king, lol. I love long soaks in a hot bath where I listen to music and read. I enjoy watching comedies, or feel good movies, Dolphin Tale is one of my favs. When the weather permits being outside surrounded by trees listening to the birds, makes my spirit soar. I feel such healing then. I also enjoy drumming and shamanic journeying and I do feel more relaxed after.

Singingtrees

Listening to the birds singing while I pat myself on the back for all the flowers and bushes I have nurtured to life, or if that doesn't work sometimes I can talk to my son and he will tell some silly thing about one of his pets, makes me laugh every time, he does this thing like he is talking through them, for example; he might say things like " Oh, I meant to do that." if the cat rolled off the couch or something.

I am just today getting my plants for the garden and extremely excited to be outside for the summer:-)

Taking a soak in the tub, petting a dog, studying for grad school courses, talking walks, talking to God.

I find that my cat on my lap, a sunny day with birds tweeting in the garden and my family around me all help me cope with my conditions. I love to be able to sit in peace and quiet and read a really good book. I guess there are a few things that help me to feel just a little bit brighter.

I wish you lots of lovely things to brighten your day too.

I believe we all have to have an arsenal of things that bring us back to center. For me my puppy always makes me smile along with writing and spending time with my family.

That’s an easy one…my sweet husband, Gary. He’s the guy that’s there for whatever/whenever I’m in need of anything. Does all of the grocery shopping and cooks for me every night. I do all of the baking…reg cooking is sooooo boring. LOL
My dogs…they always bring me joy and love…no matter what. Then there’s my grands. BEST grands anywhere and always ready with a story for me.
God has blessed me beyond measure here on earth.

Seeing or hereing my 3 year old granddaughter, my daughter. Or cooking a meal with my son.

Bevie, my sweet husband is a Gary, too. Garys are the best! :)

My dog.

Sometimes when I feel really bad and nothing seems to help I go for a drive and take in the scenery. I live in a beautiful area so if I can get past the crowd and traffic issue then I drive along the ocean. It doesnt take much energy to drive and just getting out takes my mind off things. I also love to walk thru nurseries and look at all the beautiful plants and flowers. Its free and fun.

Oh, you lucky duck! I wished I lived by the ocean, or even a lake. I love the smell and the sounds.

My happy days are now hearing 'Pharrell Williams' singing HIS 'Happy' song...it's so much fun, it makes me smile. My dogs Button and Bows. The flowers. I'm in the middle of making my gardens, hope the Florida summer won't kill them. Finding the 'Fibro Friends' that's what makes me happy. And a Happy Day to all of you.

I like to read about the universe, or something about technology. A bath is always a warm feeling to me, but also it cheers me up when I hear some one who is cheered up talking about what ever.
