2 days since Thanksgiving. Seems longer?

I’m not used to having my son home this many days in a row so I’m all off with time! I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving?
Sady ann is such a sweet thing. She is finally feeling at home but she does have separation anxiety really bad. And I can understand that! When I come home from the grocery store, which is the only place I won’t take her, she begins to whine and jump up on me so I will pick her up where she feels safe. She has barked a total of 2 times in the past 2 weeks and both times at my friend’s overly aggressive dog. She whines when she’s upset but also when she’s happy too. Hard to explain really.
I took her outside and decided to hook her up to the lead so she could enjoy the sunshine while I racked leaves. Well well well… That did not go well. She came running, ran inside my legs, and stayed there! She did NOT like being on the lead. I have a feeling she thought I was going to leave her there. We will work on that! LOL I am going to see if I have any quotes to share since I haven’t been looking any up the last few days. If I do, enjoy!!

  1. The best teachers are those who show you where to look but don’t tell you what you see.

  2. Planting healing words in your wounds.

  3. Whoever said money can’t buy happiness has never paid an adoption fee.

  4. Not to brag or anything but I’m kind of a big deal to my dog!

5.Shoutout to all the men going through a lot, with no one to turn to, because this world wrongly taught our males to mask their emotions, and that strong means silent.

I look up all types of quotes so I’ll be back with some funnies next week!! Gentle Hugs for all.

Not being that much of a dog, but I might at least whine in relief after separation, with the pain still in me?
Or is not having several modes of expression, cos it wasn’t necessary before…?

  1. Yep! And enjoy discovering new things there together.
  2. Hmm, yeah, apparently, I brought my mat in the kitchen yesterday evening and flinch-whisper ‘ouch’ while lying down and she asks me ‘what’s up?’ Isn’t that obvious?

GramyB, it sounds like you are just the patient, loving and kind owner that Sady Ann needed! :purple_heart:
