Anyone go to the chiropractor for relief? Does it help?
Hi Tarra
We are all different so here is my story. I was sent to a chiropractor by my orto surgeon. Best thing I ever did. I go once a month now and also have a massage while their. I will admit the 1st time I went i swore i would never go back. Now i wouldnt no what to do with out it. Some insurances will cover it. Most will give a cash discount if you don't have insurance. Let me know what you decide.
Hi,
I love the chiropractic care that I receive : ) I go 1x/week and it does miracles for the tension I hold in my muscles from this diagnosis and stress. I also get massage therapy. I had to tell my massage therapist to lighten up on the treatment though because I was sore the first time I had a massage. If you decide to get Chiropractic, make sure you advocate for your needs and your provider understands your diagnosis and how it affects you so he can develop a treatment plan that meets your needs.
Hugs,
Sara
Thank you. I’m going to Start looking for one. There are times my back and hips hurt so bad I can hardly walk and even then I’m having to pretty much drag my left leg.
Just got done with my first treatment. It released so much tension. I didn’t realize how tense I am all the time. He put me in traction and decompression therapy.I have a lot of inflammation in my lower back and hips. But he has assured me that the treatment and exercises he is going to give me will help my pain and mobility. I am definitely going back.
