Curious

Today I had such bad pain and pressure in my shoulder. It felt like something was going to snap. But then I moved a certain way and the pain and pressure went away. I was told I don’t have a pinch nerve. My pain is back but it is mild. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you! Love to all!

Hello Curious!

I DO get a similar pain to what you're describing. It may not be the same exact pain though, because I'm not positive if I'm interpreting you correctly.

I get pain and pressure in my neck and shoulder. You said yours goes away when you move a certain way. Mine goes away when I crack my neck and shoulders (similar to the way people crack their knuckles). This releases the pressure and eases the pain for a bit. If this is similar to what you are referring to, then I can understand what you are going through.

As of yet, I have received no answers as to why this happens.

I hope this helps and that you feel better!

Tia

Thank you Tia! That does help!

I get pain in my shoulders and back too. I know that if I move it just right most of the sharp pain goes away and it leaves just a dull ache. My doctor said that he believes it is from a combination of stress and over use. When I'm stressed I tighten my muscles and then when I moved them around they knot up. Moving them in the right way relaxes them.

I too get a pain in my shoulder that is usually so painful its hard to lift it over my head to comb my hair or wash my back in the shower! I have found no way to really relieve the symptoms of this pain. I have had my chiropractor look at it, I've had it massaged, and it never really seems to go away.

I often times find it eased when I just let it be still (I am conscious of the pain but doesn't throb as badly) but once I move it the slightest bit, I want to rip my arm off!

I totally know what you're going through and sorry you are experiencing it. I wish I could give some positive advice on how to help, but I haven't found it either.

Try to take it easy and relax in a hot bath with muscle/tension relief crystals....they are amazing!
