I tried it and I can’t figure it out either- I had to use my husbands computer. I have noticed that you can’t download many things on the IPad and you can’t save files. It drives me crazy. But I can email iPad photos to myself so I can them on another computer.
I can’t figure out how to save pictures on my iPad. It is the first generation iPad so it doesn’t have a camera.
I don’t think you can save pics on your iPad. The only pics I have on mine are ones I take with my iPad. I have an iPad 2. It is so frustrating that there are many things you can’t do with it that you can do with a normal computer- save files, etc.- but I would never give mine up, especially now that I am so limited. It has been a godsend to me when I can’t get out of bed, cont concentrate to read, etc. I have Netflix and it is the best $8 a month I could spend at the moment.
ipads, I am still trying to figure out the computer, and a basic cell phone that I have had for a couple of years, and I only talk on that!
I just finally learned how to 'cut and paste'! I feel like I need to go to 'head start' and learn all this technology! LOL!!
So please bear with me!! It is a wonder I even got a picture on here, that was a Houdini feat for me, kids! Ha!
Hi Gemm, I think we all have these kind of days sooner or later. I am also on meds for depression but here I am depressed again as well. We seem to change my meds every few months to see what will work because nothing has for me as of yet. As far as finances go, I know where you are coming from and it just stinks. I hope your day gets better and you start doing better as well....Hang in there...
:) Robin
Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look atit, I have always been exposed to computers in my work. I got my iPad as a present and almost returned it. Thought I would never use it. I am glad I kept it as it is wonderful to have especially on days when you can’t get out of bed. Bad thing is, it is all touch controlled so on really bad days when I can’t even lift my arm, it is hard to use.
One of the good things (if there is anything good)about having FM is that it has forced me to slow down and enjoy little things I never had time to enjoy before. Hope you are having a great day.
Hey SK,
How are u? Did you ever think about taking a computer class? It might be fun and it would get u out of the house

I did everything today to sell my boyfriend’s '57 Chevy on eBay except upload pictures. I had to leave my iPad and go to the regular laptop. The stress already has me hurting and the keyboard bothered me also. I am glad that is over. I had never sold anything on eBay but he thinks moving to the beach will help me.
SK, you might find the iPad easier to use. I think it is more intuitive once you know the basics. My father who is in his seventies has one and he loves it. They are so lightweight and easy to use when you’re laying down.
