Extra pain x100..thanks weather

So as most of u already know, the weather here in IL is going to be crazy for the next 3 days or so. and i'm having so much pain that i haven't had in a long time. my neck is hurting a lot worse, my hands and my pointer, middle and ring finger, are all tingling and numb, my thighs and tops of my feet have been on fire about all day, my hips hurt and so do my ankles and legs and they feel so weak...like i can barely pick up my legs to take a step (does anyone ever feel these??) , ugh lots of other pain as well. I pray that this weather hits and is over as quick as it came!

I do ask for prayers please! i washed dishes and cleaned the kitchen and got everything ready just in case the lights go out....and all of this means i will barely be able to move tomorrow, and once i can actually function some, i wont be able to use my hands very well b/c my wrists will hurt horribly. always know when the weather is going to be really bad b/c my whole entire body hurts , and everything over re-acts, even my moods! woke up this morning with everything swollen and was so stiff it took me almost 10mins to get out of bed and a long time to get to the bathroom....ugh. anyways, prayers for everyone who is pain from all this nasty weather, and may you all be safe and warm!

Feeling the same!

Our weather is supposed to get bad tonight. I have always been a fall and winter person and this year is no different. Even with the cold I tend to fell better.

And a prayer for you, too, CoookiesMom. These monster storms are sure wreaking havoc on everyone with fibro. And I can only imagine how the poor people feel who are yet to be diagnosed but who have fibro and are also being clobbered by this storm. Meanwhile, I hope you've got your heating pad ready or "on call." And any extra drugs that you may need.

I don't have the weakness in the legs but get it in the arms now. Must be way worse in the legs, since they hold you up! I haven't a clue as to why we feel weaker in these areas sometimes. Mighty odd coming from an illness of pain!

Gentle hugs,

Petunia

Really??? Even your fibro??? Scientists should study you to figure out why your fibro doesn't go haywire in the winter, so we can find out how to manage ours in the winter. That being said, good for you for being able to get through the winter okay!
