Hello friends,
Wondering if anyone has tried taking S-acetyl glutathione for energy, fibromyalgia, MS, Lyme, or for a variety of other ailments.
There is a much longer description of what it is on another Ben’s Friends Site: http://www.lymediseasesupportnetwork.org/forum/topics/have-you-tried-s-acetyl-glutathione
I find that it is my wonder pill for feeling a sense of “well being” to include less pain and fatigue.
Any thoughts?
Sunny
Angel,
Yes, always consult your medical team and this includes your pharmacy.
My doctor prescribed S-Acetyl Glutathione made by a company called Xymogen. The tablets keep me feeling a bit more energetic and “well” - I have Fibro, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lyme, HHV-6, EBV, lots more fun things that I’ll leave off my list.
Unlike many manufacturers, Xymogen requires your doctor’s approval. I have felt much less sluggish, overall 25% reduction in symptoms. Highly recommend that you consider asking your doctor if this might help your fibromyalgia plus other ailments.
S-Acetyl Glutathione is an acetylated form of glutathione. This form is well-absorbed and more stable throughout the digestive tract than other forms on the market. Use of stomach acid-resistant capsules (DRcaps™) further protect stability. Laboratory data showed that S-acetyl glutathione increased intracellular glutathione and had a positive effect on many oxidative stress biomarkers.
