Has anyone gone through a pregnancy with Fibro?

Long story short, I was diagnosed 18 months ago with Crohn's Diseases and thats when I started having the pain...They told me is was normal and would lessen when I went into remission.

1 year ago I acheived remission but the pain is getting worse. The pain pills make me sick, and give me another reason to not get out of bed. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed (after MULTIPLE visits and consults with other doctors) with Fibromyalgia. 6 months and 5 medications later here I am, no closer to relief...

My husband and I have been together 4 years and we want to start a family, but with all the medication and with Crohn's, Fibro, low blood pressure, and Syncope episodes (fainting)....Well we are terrified.

I was hoping to find someone on here that could share their experiences.. give me a little hope for the future. I know I will always be in pain and I'm trying to come to grips with that but I don't know what I would do if It were to hard on my body to have children. (or the medications endangered my future child) Any help or guidance is welcomed!

So sorry for all your struggles. I have had 4 children and my Fibro started 2 weeks after I delivered my last child, who just turned 2. I was diagnosed 6 months later after many doctors and tests, etc. And, unfortunately, I have tried multiple Meds with no relief. Best of luck with whatever you decide

How are you coping with having Fibro and taking care of 4 children? Are you scared your children might have to go through life with this disease? What medications have you tried? Is there anything that you do to help relieve the pain?

I'm sorry I have so many questions and Fibro is turning out just like my Crohns.. It seems to be so different for everyone you pretty much can only say what helps, and what hurts You Only.

Thank you for what you have shared, I hope you are able to find some relief.
