For the last few weeks I have had on and off headaches and pretty bad nausea. Stopped Humira to see if it was the issue- nope. Stopped the Celebrex- doesn’t appear to be that. Has anyone experienced anything similar- it’s starting to drive me crazy?
i have that issue from time to time as well. :( My husband told me that I need to go to see someone for migraines. I'm not sure if it's linked to Fibro or not.
Yes, I suffer from headaches every single day. Right now my doctor is weening me off of Wellbutrin to see if that is what it is. We reduced my dosage from 60 mg to 30 mg for a week - there was no change. Now I take 30 mg every other day and so far there is no change either. I'll be totally off the Wellbutrin next week, but I don't think that is the culprit.

Love your name.
yes I have headaches, kind of annoying more than anything.I take a panadol and that seem to fix it over time
I don’t have any meds that could cause headaches, and in the past I have had migraines and I know it not that,so yes I get headaches as part of this fibromyalgia but they do pass with meds. Hope that helps Barb
Hi
I was told these headaches are part of fibro. Told my doctor about them .But was told to take tylenol. I've had a headache on and off for the past week. It is like someone stabbing me inside my head. It is very painful and nothing seems to help. Hope you feel better soon.

hi,have had fibro for 29 yeas now and the migraines are there on and off just like most of the many other illnesses that go along with fibro.I always get sinus, stress or just migraines and usually i get an aura about an hour before, which is zig zag lines, shots of lightning across my vision and numbness in my hands and fingers and within an hour the good ole pounding migraine is there,as it has been all day today.Nothing takes them away, only a trip to the ER and an iV of toradol and nausea meds and then it finally goes away.very common these headaches along with Fibro..So many other things too and i pray everyday for all my Fibro friends and others that suffer this awful illness as its down right cruel in so many ways....soft hugs.....Jackie
Hey there,
I have had cranial issues since 2003 which are fibro related. It seems my issue stems from a hip imbalance/core and the fascia pulling on my temporal and sphenoid bones in my head. In my case I have pressure in my head that causes my eyesight to be impeded, my short memory is terrible and when at its tightest/worst my energy is depleted. I have found that restful sleep is needed (I have to take epilim and endep to sleep) and also a planned workout schedule to counter the imbalance in the body.
Hope this helps you..
I have to get Botox injections now for my migraines. They were driving me crazy. It wasn’t my meds. Maybe hormones or weather or both. Zomig 5 mg works most of the time for me. Good luck achy.
I get headaches all the time, my vision blurs at night, sometimes during the day. fibro also lends to high blood pressure, i have perfect numbers for my hearts health but i have high blood pressure. It came on slowly, i think all my symptoms came on slowly, and more kept coming but snuck up on me. I would see your dr. headaches are part of fibro, i never had them before and talking to my friend who sees the country's best dr for fibro validated the headache is from fibro.
Dear achy,
Sorry you are down. There are many nasty types of flu going around right now, our household has been down with bronchitis that has hung on for weeks, even after Dr visit, antibiotic and strong cough syrup.
The barometric pressure has been haywire since hurricane Sandy blew through here, and that will give you a terrible headache, and general body ache, especially bad is the low pressure, my DC explains it as expanding the body and causing it to 'thump'!
I too have Sjogrens, and Psoriatic Arthritis. Neither of these are easy on you, my friend, both are systemic atoimmune diseases that attack every cell of the body. Hopefully you are under the care of a good Rheumatologist.
I am still taking the first biologic prescribed for me, Enbrel, though my Rheum mentioned that unless he sees significant improvement by end of January, he will move me on to Humira, but according to this both are side effects of the drug.

I would suggest that you give your Dr a call monday about it. Hopefully he can help to remedy these, surely you have enough to battle without these included! Hope you feel better very soon!
Wishing you well,
SK
Dear achy,
Stopping meds without consulting your Dr is usually not a good idea, that can often times compound a problem. It may not be a problem with the 2 you mention, but I am not a medical professional, so could not say for sure.
I do know that taking meds like Celebrex without taking food with them can cause severe stomach problems. Celebrex was always notoriously hard on the stomach anyway!

That's how my Fb got diagnosed. Along with the pain I had headaches, nausea and vomiting. So bad I've been admitted to the hospital severely dehydrated, because I'm stubborn and wouldn't go sooner. Stayed a week the first time. After they did tests they took out my gall bladder. That helped briefly, then the vomiting and headaches came back. The docs don't attribute these symtoms to the Fb, but I do. They go hand in hand with the pain. During this stretch I've lost 23 lbs. I can't afford to lose much more, thank God I'm going to the doc on Mon. Hope this helps. :)

This happened to me, diarhoe and vomiting until I couldn’t manage it any more (I am a nurse), There I was in emergency room. They took blood and found that I was in renal failure, so that I needed renal dialysis. My story is that my kidneys started to work again thank goodness.
After discharge from hospital I found a new doctor who also dealt in alternative therapy.
I started eating only fruit and veg nothing else,no coffee, no flour, no oats, no diary, and low and behold no diarrhea and no vomiting. it took two weeks. I started on Probiotics and a range of vitamins. I did that for a year.
Now I eat normally except for no flour, (gluten), and no diary and I have no problem.Barb
Hi Achy,
How are you feeling today?
SK-
Thanks so much for asking- feeling pretty good today- only a few incidents of nausea. Tried to ignore it while we put up our outdoor Christmas decorations. I appreciate everyone's input- knowing that it might be connected to the Fibro and not just something strange going on with me. I hope everyone is having a good day today!
