Hello DanaBell86
If you need any help with the site please ask. I woke up like that a few days ago with the flu at first I thought it was just a really bad day I was on the couch for 4 days it was horrible.
The weather changes are also causing problems for many of us. Have you tried warm baths? They seem to help me.
We are here for you any time.
Hi. Don't give up. Believe me when I say everyone on this site totally gets what you are saying and
Feeling. We all feel the same. Just know we are here for you. This is a safe place.

Hi DanaBelle and welcome! I'm glad you found your way here although I'm sorry fr the reason!
Oh mornings are terrible, aren't they? I've had some where the hip pain was sooo deep inside and terrible pain-wise. It was when I needed an increase in the dosage of meds I was on. Once that was increased, I felt better and could sleep again. Have you discussed the increased pain with your doctor? Maybe a dosage increase may help? And sometimes it takes another med in conjunction with the pain med to get better results. For instance, I take Lyrica for the pain plus Nortriptyline to sleep. But it also helps with pain reduction and mood enhancement.
I also use over the counter pain patches, SalonPas, to help with the pain. And sometimes an ice pack is my best friend! A PT person explained to me that ice helps to reduce swelling from inflammation, which is why it helps with pain. Not everyone here finds it helpful though.
DO hang in there. We all know how you feel and will try to help as much as possible!
Hugs,
Petunia
Tina,
Oh my gosh, yes, WEATHER is a huge factor in how we feel! I fall apart before, during and after a storm. And the cold is also a killer.
I absolutely LOVE it that you explain that you have the heart and soul of a 20 year old! Go, girl!!!!!!
Foods affecting fibro is an interesting concept. I know that some of us are gluten intolerant and do much better on a gluten-free diet. So it's worth maybe keeping a food diary to see if there are any dietary triggers. Good point, Tina!
