I have returned to you now at the turn of the times

Thank you, Rossi is lucky... if I had my way all animals would be... I think that they all deserve to be loved and looked after. Rossi always helps, usually when I am sad he puts a paw onto me, then jumps up for a cuddle and I sometimes end up in tears telling him all my worries and he sits and listens and sighs and cuddles me and they go away :) xx

HELLO MIKE, I HAVE A SERVICE DOG NAMED RUSH. HE IS HALF YELLOW LAB AND GOLDEN. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. LATELY I HAVE NOT TAKEN HIM OUT BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN SO SICK. I AM WAITING FOR A DAY OF SHOPPING HE LOVES THE ATTENTION.

ALWAYS MICHELE AND RUSH

HELLO STRANGER: I HAVE A SERVICE DOG NAMED RUSH. HE IS MY LIFE. I HAD BEEN VERY SICK WITH LUPUS, MS, FIBRO CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE AND MORE.

HE IS YELLOW LAB AND GOLDEN MIX. I SUGGEST IF ANYONE WANT A GREAT FRIEND IN LIFE, GET A SERVICE DOG.

ALWAYS MICHELE AKA MICKEY AND S.D. RUSH

Rossi would never be well enough behaved to be a service dog, but he is a good boy none the less. Rush sounds like a lovely boy, give him some fuss and a cuddle from me and Rossi if you would? x

Hi mikejudd. I have a lot of emotional pain too. A lot of anxiety. Today is a very gloomy day for me. Seems to run in our family, unfortunately. I'm sorry you suffer from emotional pain, it is exactly as you described...a millstone around the neck. I pray it goes away for you.

Congratulations on your Uni work. What a sense of accomplishment you must get from that! Good for you.

I have encouragement in the shape of a labrador too. Her name is Apple. She just turned 2 years old. She is a bit of a ding-a-ling, and I love her. We also have a little black mix of some sort named Tinkerbell. She was my Mom's dog and she likes to get right in your neck and then she wags her tail like there's no tomorrow. Dogs have so much love to give. So does my kitty, Picasso.

I didn't know you before, because I'm sort of new here, but it's nice to meet you and Rossi.

Be well.

L-Kitty

This is a picture of Apple begging me to take her out to play. She likes to keep me moving, which has been so therapeutic.

Hey there,

I have seen you posting a little bit recently and was not sure if you had been on here long. What an adorable labrador Apple is, she certainly looks happy and contented. She is almost identical to Finn (left in my picture) who has just turned 6, Rossi is 6 1/2 and Skipper is 9.

Emotional problems run in my family too. Both my father and I have suffered from severe depression for years, anxiety that is unbearable, panic attacks that are hell and self harm which is more than a little embarrassing to talk about. I hope that your emotional pain will go away, but I know it is not that cut and dry. I at least hope that it stays at a minimal level for as long as possible.

Mikex

HI Michelle,

It's wonderful that you have a service dog! I'm sure that you two are tight! It's has to be a very rewarding way to have support and security!

Maybe you don't need to be embarrassed here. This seems like such a safe place to be.

My daughter has had a problem with self harm as a teen. Her life has always been turmoil despite our attempt at a stable home. As a Mom I wish I could start over from the beginning with her and put her in a bubble to protect her. She is 30 now. We have been through lots of therapy together. It's difficult to get to the bottom of what troubles us. I am sorry for your pain.

You have such compassion and you are a very intelligent young man. You will make such a good attorney and you will be able to contribute to the world in such a good way.

Hang in there!

L-Kitty

Glad to hear that you are back Mike and loved the poem. I have a fat yellow cat named Caz and a large lovable Golden Retriever named Kody. They are my faithful compainions. Not a mispelling because they are always there when I am in pain and need a little love. Wishing you much strength and pain free days...

i love the new doggie pics and your poem. do to not being on much myself i didnt notice u not being on. u should turn your peom into a local paper and see if they would publish it. i am sure lots of people would love it. you r very talented.

glad your studies r going well dispite how u r feeling. if u need a friend u know how to reach me. hugs

stephanie

Thank you... I have loads of them... I will get them all into a book at some point and have it published. Hopefully many people who have to study poems at school would prefer something written from a doggies perspective than something written by a bloke who thinks he is an island xx

Here is perhaps one of the only places I am happy to be myself and not be embarrassed... being on here makes me feel more human than usual and I feel that even if I help one person I have done some good xx

Hi

With regards to self harm,, I have a suggestion. I know it's really difficult not to cut yourself when you are feeling bad, but have you ever spoken with " Breathing Space". Tell me to shut up if you have already tried this but I know they help loads of people and loads find that it helps. They work out of the same office as me and I know lots of them personally. I have never cut myself but have spoken to them about other issues and they have been a great support to me.

Luv and hugs

Ann.

I have not heard of them if I am honest. I am currently seeing the mental health team on Bute and they have been wonderful :-)
