In my inbox this morning

Fibro is unpredictable and I never know what today will be until it happens. Hard to plan like that. It is so easy to not see the forest for the trees, and to wind myself up unhelpfully.

I have been working on mindset for a while now, after my sister the cancer patient said to me “if you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter”

Then this in my email inbox today, which I thought to share with everyone here. Yes what we have is awful and unpredictable and makes us miserable. But we don’t have to live with that mind!

I hope you all enjoy this article as much as I did. ra:):turtle:

What a fabulous story, ranselmo! Thank you for sharing: it made my day, and I hope a lot of others.

Thank you so much for your article. It sure was a mind opener. My grandson was in a car with my nephew and couple of his friends. He didn’t know that they had been partying that day when he chose to get in the car. The driver had alcohol, cocaine and weed in him. Anyway to make a long story short. The driver went up a hill then turned around and went down the hill going 50-60 mph. They hit a skip loader that was on the side of the road. The car flew in the air and landed in a ditch. Everyone was unconscious except one. The other 2 you men were fine. My grandson had a massive head injury then he had a stroke while he was unconscious. He .has lots of difficulty with his right side due to the stroke. He can talk and my daughter or her husband have to use a belt around him to help walk. He can’t walk alone. I’m grateful he’s alive it was touch and go for awhile. I’m so happy he made it.
