2023-11-24 Friday - recovery?: Yep, back up to let’s say “23%” all day. CVD med side effects? 5mg candesartan, 0 atorvastatin, only few issues / side effects. LDN? (Nov 19th on 1x1.5mg): Effect possibly increasing.
What … worked / went wrong … today:
Extremely surprised how low my blood pressure is now, so the 4-5mg after not even 4 weeks (Nov 6th = 4mg) wasn’t just giving me a difficult time with side effects, it has also worked much better than the average of 9mmHg. It’s I’d say more like 20-40mmHg, considering I only took it once after having moved around, which would normally have made it shoot to 150-160 for a few minutes. Only with pee urge did it shoot up to 157 once (but only to 129 a 2nd time before bed), and with a stressful thought it was up to 145 for a minute, but 140 and under after that, then all night between 87-91! and once 111. Talked with my wife and she agrees if I feel it’s more than enough I don’t need to check more diligently, I can go back down to 4mg and then re-check in another few weeks. I’ll ask my GP and cardio too, cos we’re both not sure about the spikes from pee urge, sports and longer stress moments.

CVD med effects?: About an hour or more when I increase too much, first from the BP med, then the lipid med. Nov 24th: Hardly any problems with 0 atorvastatin and (like yesterday) 5mg candesartan, 24th/25th: BP is good now. Nov 13th started atorvastatin for lipids 1mg/d. 6th: reached 4mg/d of BP. Spreading pulverized BP specks increasingly over the day since Oct 31st is working, whilst the small starting dose from 24th on was dreadful, and even amounts of 1-2.5 mg once a day took all LDN energy.
24th dreadful. 25th not taken. Re-start with BP speck 26th. 1-2mg early 27th seemed not particularly good, but might’ve been too little sleep. 28th Worse after less sleep. 29th Better after longer sleep. 30th Worse after 2.5mg (or >2 at least) despite sleeping almost 8h. 31st: Spreading the “candy” (candesartan) over the day in ~0.5mg specks worked, I think I felt it a little at ~14:00 once tho. 1st: spreading is working again, again felt it a little at ~12:00. 2nd: and again, no effects. After that sometimes nauseous sinus headache in the morning if I take a bit too much, but resolves quick, so trying to keep the specks higher in the daytime. I’ve reached the 4mg/d since Nov 6th.

(1) JAB#3 (on Nov 7th 2022) caused MCAS / histamine problems like the first 2 till around July. Esp. ENERGY DOWN further to (10-)15-20% (max.), but more slow energy. Each jab -5%.
Made me stop cryotherapy/acupressure and acupuncture from Dec on!

From before 20th: binge work stress. 21st: feverish, histaminey, 22nd: severe pain in right upper abdomen for a few days. 24th: felt ‘ill’ and realized I couldn’t hear music any more. (27th: New GP OK.). 18th: stopped CVD meds again for the time being. Harley losing tooth, appetite and weight was the main trigger from September on. In Sept. the big work project, and wife’s mood (better in Oct).
(11) Oct: BETTER FROM LDN, WORSE FROM CVD MEDS: 1st VLDN 0.07mg, 9th 0.125mg, 16th 0.25mg. 17th: Complex filling - only 1-2 days recovery. Listening 15’ to very selected music improving. 20th LDN 0.5mg, 23rd: back to candesartan 4mg, atorvatastin 20mg, ezetimibe 10mg, 24th dreadful, 26th re-started with BP specks, increasing to 4mg, with only slight side effects.
Nov: From LDN stable energy 18->22% and stiffness down to 10%. 15th starting to get slightly above 4mg BP without side effects, starting atorvastatin specks dulled, proprioception, fatigue.
3) DOCS: Nov 16th: Report from onco doc came, claiming it was me that'd stopped coming, and that my lymph nodes, liver and spleen sizes would need to be checked next, but no cancer is detectable to date, he put the eosinophilia (at the time) down to fibromyalgia or (MCAS) intolerances. Nov 8th: Urologist: IPP/Peyronie - but I'm still looking for natural alternatives, and I believe the cystoscopy injured me, whether I have a genetic predisposition or not. Nov 4th/5th: See 5th for bloods of Oct 23rd: need to keep up most supps plus try to re-start all 3 CVD meds. Oct 30th: Onco appt scheduled for Jan 8th - distant time, but place near enough. Last update Oct 24th: Complaint about the lax onco doc after exactly 6 months. Oct 23rd: Cardio: bloods, and convinced me to re-start the CVD-meds. Oct 11th: GP#2's office checked back about onco, GI & bloods. Sep27th: Wife's GP will get me a cancer appt., ask about GI. Oct 21st (see 20th) pee frequency / urine retention med: I used to drink only 1.5L/d before fibro, plus lots of yogurt and raw veggies. Whist I’m not sure when that changed, 80/d supp capsules and my increased thirst and dryness are the reasons for drinking 3L/d and so for peeing more, so no sense in taking meds to artificially reduce my peeing. (Pulling my 3rd meal supps and the 1L almond milk forwards to 19:00 didn’t help for sleep breaks, and thirst and headache at night).
Still no other explanation for the “B symptoms” Feb/March (Mar 29th: night sweats, cough plus appetite & weight loss) so back to T4 + CoV being the reasons I guess. Feedback from onco appt. Apr 24th is STILL pending.

‘Research’ today
Atorvastatin harming
As I’m now pretty sure I don’t tolerate my (brand of) atorvastatin anymore, not even 1mg, altho I did before the jabs.
I’ve looked at the excipients. My brand contains 10 substances, of which 2-3 are harmful substances: Triethyl citrate, Polysorbate 80 and titanium dioxide. They’re not in the contents, but the coating. So first I’ll be trying to rasp off the coating and just take 1mg of the inside. As mine are splitable I can see how big the coating is. I’m also looking together with my pharmacy for a brand with less or different harmful substances. And I’ve asked them if they can get the pure substance and compound it.
Thinking about interactions with the statin, like the high dose of nicotinic acid, I looked that up, and general pages say interactions are possible. But it’s often used together, so there is a lot of data and don’t mention increasing pain/fatigue or anything like that. B2 I’d stopped during the statin tests, so it can’t be that either. I can’t think of anything else that’d be risky.
Of the 3 most harmful substances above, the most likely from the possible reactions seems Polysorbate 80, What Is Polysorbate 80 And Why Should You Avoid It? which “also links to a variety of systemic responses (e.g., hypersensitivity, non-allergic anaphylaxis, rash) and injection- and infusion-site adverse effects in medication formulations (ISAEs; e.g., pain, erythema, thrombophlebitis).”
Quality of life: 90%
Lessons in self-care: Health bills were priority, but also my sister and Harley, so going outdoors or yesterday’s blog only got done after. But I do get out quite a bit of fresh air all the same, for shops - the long walk every day and table tennis - if not today, plus airing much more and longer, day and night in my sleep breaks.

ca) Fun to see Harley eating freely and together with Stuey, so maybe this is better cos more natural than feeding in a box.
cb) Put hazelnuts out for Ballerina Squirrel to hide again, the red one is here more at the moment. The light flowing movement of the tail is what gives the ballerina effect. But the way all four paws/arms move is is so nimble and cute too, wanna cuddle! But at least I can cuddle Harley and him back.
cc) Whoo-hoo, Squirrel very close, how big, I thought he was smaller, then ran right up to where I’m sitting with laptop on chair and sun shade over it to stop the rain. As long as I don’t move, he doesn’t mind…
e) Human life:
ea) Talking to sis was wonderful, first she saw how I fed Harley, how cute he is, then we talked thru her job problems, developed quite a lot of solutions.
eb) Great talk with my wife about that and other things, and we helped an old man that had fallen over whilst help was being fetched.
f) Environment: So good every time I do get out or even let in fresh air.
g) Body: Having to change a lot in the template cos of the CVD med work.
Foggies: I keep having to look for things, at the moment my DAO pills, so I can’t do the walnut histamine test. Probably cos I tidied up too much? ![]()
