Last night as I finally drifted off to sleep; which was not easy because I knew I had to wake up at 4 this morning, I was awaken by what I thought was some kind of creepy crawly. Not that I have seen anything in my house but with the Texas rain everything is coming out. After I jumped and had a small freak out moment I realized it was my eye twitching against my pillow that woke me up. I laughed at myself this morning and thought everyone else could use a chuckle too.
Here in So Cal we have Black Widow Spiders, Tarantulas, and Wolf spiders. My garage was infested and some cardboard boxes brought inside came with some lovely and large Wolf spiders. One climbed up on my bed twice, sitting on my fuzzy blue blanket. The first time I was just about to pull up the blanket but saw him just in time. Screaming and throwing blankets ensued (and he escaped.) Second time I had my face on blanket, looked over and I swear the same spider was sitting a foot away from me. He scampered away again. Finally got a professional pest person, had no more spider episodes or other creepy crawlies all year. Had to laugh about it so I’m going to try to upload my favorite LOL-CATS!
I got trapped in my garage once by s huge tarantula…before I realized it was dead LOL. And we do have rattlesnakes too, my ex almost stepped on one a while back!
I did sleep better last night, but I think the rain may still have me all out of sorts.
Starr- loved the stories and the pictures. I am glad you shared.
