They're calling for snow in the nearby mountains so winter has arrived, even though we had the A/C on in the kitchen last week, well, my husband did! NOT ME!

It is getting cold here at night. I do miss the snow. Our weather is not near as bad as yours. My daughter and I are going today to get the grandkids new gloves and I will be thru knitting their bogans by the weekend. I also have to get antifreeze for the car. Going to check all the emergency supplies to like candles flashlights and such. Since I live out in the country my power does not always come back on to quickly so have to make sure to have food and alternate heat at the ready.
It's still cold, of course my husband still has A/C units in the windows! Time to crack the whip!!!!!!

What I like best about the snow these days, besides it being beautiful, is the fact that when the ground is totally covered, there are no mold allergies to deal with!
When it snows in SC everything shuts down, the water, bread and milk... dissapear from the store shelves. lol. I enjoy a good snow storm, just as long as it goes away in a few days. That cold gets in your bones, and it takes fore er to get warm. Not to mention the pain that comes along with it.
As Mr. Bill would say, "oooooooohhhhhhhh noooooooooooo!"
Its way too early for this weather - says me! My marigolds will be upset by the news. If you look outside in our yard, the flowers would have you thinking it was late summer/early fall. And that's how i like it...because it takes until June or July for nice weather to return. Bummer!
Well, that's true enough, SK. Cold weather is great at killing off all kinds of nasties.
Tonight is to be in the 20's! Woo! I'm in the process of changing summer to winter clothes right now! No more capris for me, it's long johns under the jeans now, and turtle neck and sweaters!
My bones are screaming at me, meds are doing NO GOOD!
Bet Mike is freezing in Scotland! Talk about COLD, right up there with Canada! Those poor people!
