TELL US ABOUT YOUR PETS ! Thank God for Puss Puss!

I have a freezer full of fish heads and rice that I could ship him! And chocolate peanut butter cookies for you!

Omg don't say that! lol. I had to read the fish heads twice before I remembered lol.

Bless you MB! x

Thanks so much, both Jo and Petunia....

And Pet, you're right; so so many people don't understand. "it's just an animal..." I even mentioned to my psychiatrist that when I lose Nollie after 17 years, that I'll most likely need major sedation (teasing him), and that I've already warned my friends to expect me to flip. He said to me, "Oh, so you're attached to it? I have some patients that really go crazy when they lose a pet" (shaking his head like we're all insane)
Definitely not an animal person...idiot.

I keep forgetting to ask you what kind of dogs you have? Post some pictures girl !

Thanks for both your support... APPRECIATED so much!

Renie Sad

Renie, he actually called your little one an "it?" And added that some of his patients go crazy when their pets die, followed by the shake of a head? I absolutely do not understand the mindset of non-animal lovers.

I just hope your baby hangs in there from all of the good care. i totally understand where you're coming from. My doggies are completely my babies.

I'll try to post some photos of them on my personal page or else in the photos section. Is Nollie on the photos section?

Yup. With that very first sentence out of his mouth, saying "it"... I knew it was going to go downhill from there. I will never understand how people cannot love an animal. I get that you're allergic, you can't afford one, etc... but to actually "not like" them? Something is just not wired right...

There should be a picture of him - he's a black and white tuxedo cat -- I can always post more ... lol !

It makes me so angry when people don't understand why you get so depressed when you lose a pet. It's the same as losing a family member. Some people don't like pets, mostly cats. I just don't get it. I thought everyone loved animals. I could understand them being nervous if they had been bitten (esp as a child because it stay with them), but it doesn't mean that all other cats or dogs are evil. If we applied that to human nature we would never go out. Get over it!

Anyway, I love all animals (although snakes creep me out) and I would never do anything to hurt them. i don't even like working in the garden in case I chop a worm in half or paint over a spider. It really upsets me so if I see one I have to move them somewhere safe

Yes that would be great. A companion for Puss Puss too. He hasn't got any friends in America.

I know! I have only been away from my babies for less that 24 hours and I miss them already!

Awwww. Thats sweet. Omg 25 pounds! Thats nearly two stone! Thats a LOT of Kitty! Would love to see a picture. Hahaha, you must have had a really painful neck. He sounds adorable. Mean husband or what?! They get so bitchy when you leave them, the big babies...

they say cats choose their owners/family, so thats means Puss Puss must love you too...x

Aww thanks, thats kind. I know what you mean. I feel so blessed to have him in my life x

Jo, Puss Puss is adorable, very handsome guy. And he give massages! A girl can't ask for more than that, huh? I too, believe that cats choose us. I had two kitties for eighteen years, Tiki and Myan, and they were my babies. I've never been closer to any pet or human than those two cats. One died four years ago and the other died two months after her. I guess they couldn't live without each other. Really sad. I miss them. I love looking at peoples photos of their pets. I love cats! They are so cool.

Allergic

NO pets Jo, just grandkids! They are certainly more action than we can handle! I like animals, have had many to care for, and we decided when we bought this house, and were pet free at the time, to just keep it that way! I grew up with a Boxer and an Airedale Terrier. That Terrier was smarter than many people I have known, she lived to be nearly 20 years old. If I ever had another, that is what I would want.

Sorry to hear that. I miss my previous cats too, and a couple of dogs. It's so hard to lose them.

I have a little skinny kitty visitor now every day too. I thought she was homeless but I found out where he lives and she's 22! (Is that 110 then in our years?). I thought she wasn't being fed so I keep filling her up, but I don't know where it goes!

Cats are cool aren't they. Dogs too, but a bit harder to look after.

Maybe you will find another cat soon?

I don't blame you because you really do sound like your suffering with pain more than most and need to care of you. What energy you have left I bet you spend on your grandkids. They certainly can take it of of you.

Wow! That is a good age for a dog! They are so smart and fun to train too. I've trained all my pets to do some cool tricks, but cats are a bit harder. lol. You will probably think I'm mad but I even taught a couple of big ghost carp I raised to dance and do kisses. lol. (Don't tell anyone). I actually miss them a lot too.

Awww, Jo. You are something else! Thanks for the smiles.

Lol, I'm "special". Yay!! Thanks sweetie. You make me laugh too x

My five year old dog Angel is amazing. Shes there to cuddle with and she even looks like she cares when you're crying in front of her. She does get really excited and scratch me sometimes trying to play. But she doesn't mean too even though it hurts SO bad! I got her five years ago when she was only two months old. She was so small at the dog breeders house. She just walked around and once i picked her up i didn't want to put her down! My mom let me have her and she slept next to me on the way home! I love her to death and she loves me. Love your story Jo :)

Thats so sweet Amanda. I love how dogs are so sympathetic when they know you're in pain. And when they tilt their head and their eyebrows when you talk to them too. They really look like they're listening don't they?! Angel sounds adorable and dogs are so loyal too. You just can't get that bond anywhere else.
