February is always the coldest month, and the most difficult to get through, I am dreaming of the promise of warm weather, walks in the yard, the birds returning, watching the spring onions grow, the flowering trees and shrubs come to life, and getting ready to take the grandsons to the greenhouse to choose the flowers they will plant in my yard. Looking forward playing outside with the boys, and am craving those concord grapes from our arbor that will not ripen until the end of summer. Guess I have cottage fever!
Hi SK - Yes, I absolutely agree with you that February is the coldest. It is only 32 degrees today and I had to go to the bank and get some gas. Even though I was bundled up, the weather was a wet cold, it always goes right through me. I am fearful that my flare up that I have had for 5 days now might get worse. All it takes is for me to be outside just for a few minutes, and I usually pay the price! The promise of spring makes me think of less Fibro pain, beautiful birds by my bay window in my bedroom - love to see them hopping around and just being carefree! (Smile) Being in a better mood - as winter doesn't agree with me and I have the tendency to be a little depressed during the cold months. Watching the cherry trees bloom in front of my windows in April. Beautiful!! Sitting outside on the benches that are around the front yard and 2 more things - not having to wear heavy winter clothes (I love spring and summer clothes!) and last but not least, being able to barbeque!!
