The Sun Is Coming Out Tomorrow! So Glad!

We are having company Saturday and I was looking around starting to think of all the things I need to do before they arrive. Decided we will eat carry out and I am going to spend the day reading. Maybe they will clean for me. Its my aunt and no matter how clean the house she will find something to say about it. Last time she visited I spent 2 weeks getting ready washed down the walls and every thing. Before she left she told me "With you being so sick I guess its hard to keep a decent house you should hirer someone to help" She has been this way my whole life and I really do love her but this time I am not doing one thing extra.

Hi rosebudsmom,

It is true 60s is not considered cold but it varies. If there is a wind chill, we feel it and if there is moisture in the air, we feel it. As we do not experience the high summer temperatures for any real length of time we are most likely acclimated. I do notice that if I do not go out in the fall and experience the gradual drops in temps I am considerably more sensitive to the cold during the winter months. Still, I hate the changing of the seasons. This fall has been very difficult.

Hope you got your sunshine, Rbm! Wanted to tell you how beautiful your daughter and grandson are! Hope you have a fabulous time with them!

I've had the grandson and great grandson for the second night and day, I think the grandson is ready to go back to school tomorrow. He looked like he was at death's door when he got here! I've been nurturing him!

I did get my Sunshine, and we had a great visit. I had several decent days and was able to get out and enjoy some things. We went to the "Pirates Voyage" in Myrtle Beach Monday Night. (a dinner show) and had a great time, especially my grandson. They went home this afternoon. I am wore out, but it was worth it. I can rest some tomorrow.

Im with you purplebutterfly, I didnt do housework, or cook, just ate out, and enjoyed ourselves.

You are testament to the fact that having fun beats anything even fibro!! As you said it best...worn out but it was worth it!!

So very true!! I am so happy that you had such a great time making happy memories!!

thanks siskiya, yes happy memories. Even with the fibro, we can still find ways to enjoy life. Its a horrible thing to have, but we have it, we cant let it have us.
