In the past few days I have been woken by very strong persistent headaches. These are the kind that are in the front portion of my head and make it painful to blink. It feels like tons of pressure is built up and there is no where for it to go. I use Advil and it seems to make it subside for a while but in the AM it is back again. I have had issues with sinus infections and do have seasonal allergies. I wanted to know if this sounds more like allergies or if it might be a fibro thing. If it is the latter, are there ideas of what I can do to make them not so bad or to prevent me from waking up with them? thank you, Michelle
Sounds like barometric changes or allergies. Our weather people told us and my doctor concurred that the polar vortex we experienced this past winter will cause a vortex as well in the allergy department. My whole family (9) is suffering in one way or another so far this year.
I was just admitted with what was diagnosed as a Migraine w/o the headache. Like a LSD trip but a LOT LESS FUN!!! I had never had one of these, I suffer migraines from all kinds of triggers but never had this before. Frightened me to death as I thought I was having a stroke with the symptoms I was experiencing. Come to find out after I was discharged, my brother, in answer to my daughter telling him what the dx was, suffers the same kind of migraine and thought the same as I did, I'm having a stroke. So something I thought was WAY OUT THERE turns out to be Familiar. Great! UGH!
You should, as Lovett said, see your doctor for something like this. Any persistent headache usually means something that needs to be checked out.

Hello
I would get it checked I was having headaches when i woke up and it was sinus. I have to be really careful with the temperature in the house every body else will be freezing and i will still be hot. This was leading to my house being to cold and drying my sinus out at night.
Thank you for all of the feed back I really do appreciate it. I do have doctor appointments set up. I will keep you all posted on what I find out about the headaches I am dealing with. Thank you again.
That sound like sinus problem for sure..You mean you don't have 24/7 never ending headaches? I feel jipt as i got the continues headache deal in my package ;- )
