I like quiet mood music, instrumental only. If there are words, it interferes with the words going on in my brain. My favorite is "Ballet Music" by Richard Maddock.
I have a number of mood music CD's loaded onto my ipod. I put it a player and request shuffle. As I lie in bed, it helps me get to sleep.

I love music with great lyrics and meaning to the song. Never been in to that headbanging, loud rap or heavy metal stuff. I grew up in the 70’s so I love Joni Mitchell, Dan Fogelberg, Juice Newton, Carole King stuff. Love the Eagles, Jason Mraz, Colbie Collait, and instrumental pianist Jim Brinkman. One of my favs is Anne Murray too. Also enjoy good jazz from John Hiaat. Give me a good, slow country song any day. Really showing my age!
