Yay!

Aww it will take time. Keep trying and find your pace. You will overdo it at times, and you will feel like crap after, but that doesn't mean its not going to work. I just means you need to take it little easier on yourself. It's all about balance isn't it. If you have a bad couple of days its not the end of the world. It will come, but it will take time.

Hi Just rest you just overdid it

How are you doing tonight, Katie? Hope that some rest did you good!

Hugs,

SK

What's up Jo, how are you?

excellent news Katie, I'm so happy you can walk again...but take it easy, baby steps xoxo

Hey SK,

Not "too bad" thanks. Haha. Just a little naughty. How are you?

I saw the pain mgmt consultant earlier and got put on to Lyrica and Tapentadol now. Don't know what they're like but I hope it will be much better.

Take care!! Hugs...

Jo

I know the Lyrica does a great job on my Sciatica, not familiar with the other drug, I believe someone just posted about it though.

It may have been Jillian who mentioned this, thought I would add it since I looked it up! Hey, hope this is a very successful combo of meds for you!

SK

How are you doing OMG? What's shaking over your way?

Good day today, Went back to the chiro and he's moving me down to once a week visits. Said it would take some time to get my endurance back, but it's time to get rid of the chair. I'm pretty hyped to be free of walking aids. I still use my cane for balance, but I'm getting used to not feeling my feet the same so I don't need it much anymore other than at night. I'm gonna donate the chair to my church so they can have it if someone needs one.

Over all good here enjoying the freedom of driving and walking again. With any luck I want to start jogging soon.

Wonderful news Katie! So happy for you and such a great testimonial to your Chiropractor! We wish you continued success!

Hugs,

SK

Thanks SK,

They have to be better than what I was on and the pain mgmt consultant told me I can contact the office any time if I want my meds altering.

Hugs to you,

Jo

Hi SK, had a couple of really good days (aching and stiff but no pain) so feeling good. How you doing? taking care of yourself i hope! xoxo

Well today was fun, but I have a feeling that I still have a ways to go to learn that paceing myself thing. I started with cleaning house (not much I never was a good house wife.) then went to my theripist and then spent almost 8 hours working at the church to prepair a meal for 50.

I get the feeling that tomorrow is gonna suck. I just don't know how to slow down. Not even the wheelchair stopped me.

Sounds like you had a very good day, and sometimes they are worth suffering for! We all do it, and we all pay for it. BUT sometimes we suffer for no reason, even if we pace ourselves.

Seems like this illness takes down the most productive of people, all of the 'go getters'.

I am very glad that you are out of that chair and living your life closer to the way you want to live it! Hurray for you Kate! You go, girl!

Big hugs,

SK

Hi Marygrace! Good to hear from you. You had mentioned a laser to us before and I had forgotten to tell you that some of the acupuncturists are even using lasers now, though I have not had one used on me. I'll have to ask my DC and see if he has enbraced this approach yet.

Glad you posted, hope you are well!

Hugs,

SK
