Does anyone struggle with facial numbness, or have rashes with your Fibro

We all most likely have pain, but does anyone have facial numbness - I started several years ago having a numbness in my face - it seems like that would come on and then my pain would follow. Well, recently my facial numbness covers more of my face and comes on often now.

A few months ago I started having a rash on my arms on the top from my wrist to my elbows - it was on one arm, then started on the other - it seems that the rash will go away and just keep repeating the same cycle

It would help me know if anyone has these symptoms - thank you

I don't have facial numbness but I get a lot of electric shock feeling in my face and pretty much everywhere. I haven't noticed a correlation with it and increased fibro pain. I don't have rashes. I would suggest talking to your doctor about these issues just to make sure there isn't something else going on. Welcome to the group and hugs!

thanks for caring to reply - I had those electrical shocks in my head when I tried to go off of Cymbalta - on the symptom lists I have studied the electrical shocks have not been on them but then there are so very many symptoms we all could have. I have read about the rashes and mostly the lists share that they are on the face but some have said the arms. I have been to a dermatologist and she thought it was a one time rash on my arm.Since then it has come and gone on both arms.

i am glad to be part of the group - hugs!

I get small round dry patches on my arms, legs and trunk. Sometimes only a few and other times a lot. They take several months to clear up and then start all over again. Only once I had one on my face. If I have one on my arm I will have it on each arm, same with my lets. Never just one side except the one on my face. They used to happen with less frequency, but now I have them all the time. I looked at rashes on computer and the one that most resembles this one is nummular ecxema, but at health food store they think its toxins coming out of me. Who knows for sure. Drs have seem them, but haven't told me what it is. Don't think they even know
